AGH I cannot believe you made it all the way through that horror. Iskierka! Burn it! I just don't understand- Why don't they get up off their lazy bums and do some research? Whenever I create a new cat character, I always check and make sure the coloring I want is possible. It IS NOT HARD! I can't stand the characters- we have Lionstu, whose new name reminds me of the scene in The Lion King when Scar and Simba fight in the flames, except this time Simba loses and rolls around in the flames for fun. Hollyleaf, who, if her name were correctly made, is green and pointy. She has an obsession with the warrior code and Starclan, two of the least powerful things ever created. And third we have Jerkface, who I lost all respect for in BOOK ONE when he was such a jerk to Brightheart. He is the most hypocritical hypocrite ever. He didn't want to be treated differently because he's blind, but he treats Brightheart differently because she's half blind? Say it with me now- HYPOCRITE! Also, his obnoxious bratty attitude makes Toph want to throw a rock at him. He is an insult to blind people. That's all. Oh, and let's not forget that the greedy little turd isn't satisfied with being the most powerful Medicine cat ever- he HAS to be a WARRIOR!
Ughgjhsdfgkshjvbnkjzbdbg Somebody kill them all please, and make sure to salvage Longtail and Brightheart and a few others I don't remember right now.

AHAHA. Cloud has idea. Thank you for your rant, Ducky, I enjoyed it.
Methinks they do not get off their arses and research because they want to keep the interest of the fickle crowd: younger kids. Who cares about facts when coolness matters more? Trust me, I didn't (somewhat) once. But I grew out of it, oh, in fifth grade, I'd say.
And what's really scary is that at least two of them have owned cats.
xD Lion King reference.
Yup, I have seen and held holly leaves. They aren't like the cat. Even the bark on the tree/bush is gray/brown, not black. So it really makes no sense.
Mmm, she's just plain stupid. And just a bad example all around. Most people devoted to their religions don't act like that, they only do if they're arrogant donkey butts. It's like when I was young, I learned about some of the bad things the Catholic church had done, and I thought they were all psychos until I met my great-grandmother, who was an extremely devout Roman Catholic (unlike myself) but she was a wonderful woman.
Sorry, just felt like sticking in that little anecdote from my life. o3o
And yes, Sir Idiot/Jerkface (I just thought of him being in a jousting competition with Sir Smudge) is various words that would pollute this post until it curled up and died a tragic, typographical death.
Yes. Toph needs to earthbend about ten tons of rock or so over his sorry face.
What's really ironic is that in the next book, he actually gets warrior training from Leafsue and he COMPLAINS about it. e-e
K. TEN, FETCH YOUR LOGIC LASER PLEASE.

Bluestar's Prophecy makes me shudder; it's even worse than all the Power of Three books together. I can't wait for you to critique it though, Cloud. ^^

D'awww, thanks Thistle. Well, should I switch from doing Long Shadows next and do that instead?
What else could he be, Ducky? If Jaypaw/feather were actually smart/slightly nice/had a real personality, he wouldn't be Jaypaw/feather.

"I hope it doesn’t and they all get sued." -- You mean arrested.
"Brackenfur darted over to Hollypaw and smoothed her fur with his tail." -- That's a new one. What page was this on?
"The time of the Clans was coming to an end, and he, Lionblaze, and Hollyleaf were the only ones who could save them." -- What is that supposed to mean? "Time of the Clans"? Save them from what?
"Political unrest" -- Heaven forbid they take after Starless, eh?
"Somebody kill them all please" -- And then an avalanche fell on BlunderClan camp and most all of them died.
"they want to keep the interest of the fickle crowd: younger kids." -- (1) young kids aren't fickle; they'll buy almost anything (2) a tortie tom character isn't any more interesting to read about than a tabby tom
"Sorry," -- Oh, come now. Don't apologize for that. I'm glad you recognize these things.
"(I just thought of him being in a jousting competition with Sir Smudge)" -- Jayfeather would refuse to participate while Sir Smudge would run off and hide. I can imagine him being so tactful about his cowardice, though. "No, you won't catch me jousting against a wild cat, so if you'll excuse me..."
"What's really ironic is that in the next book, he actually gets warrior training from Leafsue and he COMPLAINS about it." -- He's just a jerk like that.
"K. TEN, FETCH YOUR LOGIC LASER PLEASE." -- BAM BAM BAM.
"Even when he gets what he wants he's a freaking brat!" -- He's already demonstrated that before: he had been complaining that everyone thought he was worthless, and when they started thinking of him as a hero, he was grumpy about that too. And where does this personality trait come from? Up the Erins' -- No where. No caustic life experience to form it. It's just there.

"You mean arrested" O. Yes. |D "That's a new one. What page was this on?" 335, I think. "What is that supposed to mean? "Time of the Clans"? Save them from what?" Their own stupidity? Idk. I think "Time of the Clans" means the period in which they exist. " Heaven forbid they take after Starless, eh?" We're too epic for the Erins to copy us. "And then an avalanche fell on BlunderClan camp and most all of them died." Triggered by Ten's logic laser, which says that any group of wild animals that stupid has their life pass revoked, so logically they would all die. ? "(1) young kids aren't fickle; they'll buy almost anything (2) a tortie tom character isn't any more interesting to read about than a tabby tom" Oyeah. /headdesk Thank goodness I have Ten around to remind me of these things. "Oh, come now. Don't apologize for that. I'm glad you recognize these things." Okay. Just wanted to be safe in case you all were like "...and we care about this why?" though I wouldn't blame you if you were. "Jayfeather would refuse to participate while Sir Smudge would run off and hide. I can imagine him being so tactful about his cowardice, though. "No, you won't catch me jousting against a wild cat, so if you'll excuse me..."" So true, so true. At least we get to see a little more of Sir Smudge in Firestar's Quest, which possibly has the some of the most boring stuff ever written in it. "BAM BAM BAM." And the Erins begged for mercy: "Oh please, please don't make us have to make sense, or write good characters, or good plots, please, we're only trying to suck money out of kids with pathetic but cool-looking novels...;-;" "He's already demonstrated that before: he had been complaining that everyone thought he was worthless, and when they started thinking of him as a hero, he was grumpy about that too. And where does this personality trait come from? Up the Erins' -- No where. No caustic life experience to form it. It's just there." Frankly I think Ten is right. I mean really. Longtail wasn't this bad when he got blinded; he was kind of depressed, obviously, but he wasn't all "well my life sucks forever in every way now that I can't see." Yes, it does come from up the Erins' you-know-whats. Just like that random line in the beginning of Eclipse that he thinks that's so OOC.

"Their own stupidity? Idk. I think "Time of the Clans" means the period in which they exist." -- It's not like they're going to stop existing any time soon.
"Okay. Just wanted to be safe in case you all were like "...and we care about this why?" though I wouldn't blame you if you were." -- Dang. Saying something like that would be rude, Cloud. I hope you don't think I'm that mean.
"I mean really. Longtail wasn't this bad when he got blinded; he was kind of depressed, obviously, but he wasn't all "well my life sucks forever in every way now that I can't see."" -- Which is strange, seeing as Jaypaw has always been blind -- he hasn't lost anything -- so he shouldn't hate it as much.
