role player|| Nefeli/Feli ______
name|| Sablestream
gender|| she-cat
physical description|| Sablestream is a lean, wiry she-cat with slightly large ears and a long, thin tail. Her fur is midnight black, and her tail is tipped with white. She has dark teal-green eyes, and large, flat paws. One of her ears is weaker than the other, and her sense of smell is inferior to other cat's. Her claws are long and thin.
views|| Sablestream is not a supporter of Clanhood. She would always choose independence over restriction. Her father Spidertail was a con, and his beliefs have become hers. She also thinks that Clanners are foolish imbeciles.
kin|| paleheart -- mother {deceased} spidertail -- father {deceased} tallkit -- brother {deceased} beigeheart -- sister {not being roleplayed} darkstone -- aunt {not being roleplayed}
history|| Sablestream's mother was a con and her father the same. She was born on a cold, rainy day in the dark season. She grew up to be like the climate of her birth; Sablestream is like the storm, icy and fierce like her father. Unlike Spidertail, however, Sablestream has a friendly and kind side, most likely from her grandmother's family. She's also really gullible.
Her brother, Tallkit, was stillborn, leaving Sablestream and her sister Beigeheart her parents' only kits. She wonders what her life would be like if Tallkit had lived.
She was mentored and raised by her father, Spidertail. He never gave her the "paw" suffix because he thought it was unnecessary. She was never very close to her mother Paleheart, for she did not like her mother's bossy, superior ways. Paleheart acted like she was better than Sablestream, Beigeheart, and Spidertail. She also kept on pointing out the negative things about them, and Sablestream found that quite annoying and hurtful.
Spidertail gave her the name Sablestream when she was three seasons old for her raven fur and grace.
When she was 5 seasons old, her father was bitten by a rat on the neck, and died the following night. Sablestream and her sister grieved deeply for him.

"Midnightfur" -- Night's already a taken prefix ("mid" doesn't clear you for take off).
"Her fur is midnight black, and both her front paws are dusky grey." -- So her paws are lighter than the rest of her, but not white? Have you seen a cat like that?
"Her father Spidertail was a con, and his beliefs had become hers" -- Since this character is still alive, you should use present tense for her beliefs -- in this case, have instead of had.
"Midnightfur does not believe she would be a good leader if there was a clan, for she thinks she lacks good leadership qualities." -- If she's a con, then she doesn't even want there to be a leader, right?
"Midnightfur's mother was a Clanner and her father a con." -- So... he raped her? Or was he just not interested in getting to know her? But if Midnightkit got her beliefs from him, that means he must have raised her.
"Her parents gave her the name Midnightfur when she was three seasons old for her sable fur." -- This shouldn't make much difference as far as the process goes, but out of curiosity... when you measure her age in seasons, do you mean one season = one year, or two seasons = one year?
"When she was 5 seasons old, her father was killed by a swarm of rats." -- A swarm of rats? What do you mean? Why did they attack him?

"Night's already a taken prefix ("mid" doesn't clear you for take off)."
-x-
Changed to Sablestream.
"Have you seen a cat like that?"
-x-
Yes.
"Since this character is still alive, you should use present tense for her beliefs -- in this case, have instead of had."
-x-
Fixed. Thanks!
"If she's a con, then she doesn't even want there to be a leader, right?"
-x-
Good point. Fixed.
"So... he raped her? Or was he just not interested in getting to know her? But if Midnightkit got her beliefs from him, that means he must have raised her."
-x-
The latter. And he did.
"This shouldn't make much difference as far as the process goes, but out of curiosity... when you measure her age in seasons, do you mean one season = one year, or two seasons = one year?"
-x-
Two seasons = one year. :)
"A swarm of rats? What do you mean? Why did they attack him?"
-x-
I changed that to a fatal rat bite. ;)

"Yes." -- Picture?
"The latter. And he did." -- So if it was just a casual fling, why did he stick around to raise the outcome? Didn't Paleheart object to him raising Sablekit as a con?
"I changed that to a fatal rat bite." -- As in the rat chomped on his neck?

Those paws look white to me. What breed of cat is that, do you know? It looks almost brown.

"Those paws look white to me. What breed of cat is that, do you know? It looks almost brown." -x- Looks grey on my laptop. o-o Must be my uber-low brightness. xD I don't know what the breed is, though. I made her fur black all over.
"So if it was just a casual fling, why did he stick around to raise the outcome? Didn't Paleheart object to him raising Sablekit as a con?" -x- Because Spidertail had always wanted to have and raise a kit. Paleheart didn't say anything about him raising Sablekit as a con, for Spidertail was known to be aggressive and violent, and she was afraid he would attack her if she did so. Added that to history.
"As in the rat chomped on his neck?" -x- Lol, yes.

"I made her fur black all over." -- mmkay.
"She has dark teal green eyes that look almost blue in the sunlight," -- Her eyes are "almost blue"? hm. I don't think I've seen cat eyes that are between green and blue. I suppose a pair of green eyes could be a little paler and grayer than the usual moss or lime.
"Because Spidertail had always wanted to have and raise a kit. Paleheart didn't say anything about him raising Sablekit as a con, for Spidertail was known to be aggressive and violent, and she was afraid he would attack her if she did so. Added that to history." -- So... Spidertail spots a female, makes a kit, and then takes control of the kit's life by force? He must really have a thing for kits. Did he raise Sablekit to be aggressive and violent, too?

"Her eyes are "almost blue"? hm. I don't think I've seen cat eyes that are between green and blue. I suppose a pair of green eyes could be a little paler and grayer than the usual moss or lime." -x- hmm, I Googled all the colors a cat's eye can have, and here's what I got:
quoth "Ojos de Gato,"
"The following are the possible eye colours:
Amber Hazel Brown Blue (rare) Green Gray Yellow Orange-ish Yellow-green Blue-green (rare)
Hope it helps!"
"So... Spidertail spots a female, makes a kit, and then takes control of the kit's life by force? He must really have a thing for kits. Did he raise Sablekit to be aggressive and violent, too?" -x- He does have a thing for kits. Yes, he raised her to be aggresive and violent, like him. I put that in her history.

"Blue (rare)" "Blue-green (rare)" -- Implying they're both about as rare as each other?
