Bronzefoot could just imagine cats being suspicious of him now. He envisioned them mistrusting him, even attacking him, and that wouldn't do. He had to explain himself. "Before anyone says anything," he meowed, "I admit that I am part of that Experiment, as Woodstripe said. But I joined for the sole purpose of sabotaging it from the inside. I don't believe anyone there - including Woodstripe - knows of my intentions. The Experiment has to go down."
