"mm, I'm sure Gramps won't get in the way of what Lionpaw wants."
Prolly not.
"What for?"
Cuz Sol must be uber powerful if he knows stuff StarClan doesn't. Or so they think. -_-

"Cuz Sol must be uber powerful if he knows stuff StarClan doesn't." -- Because knowing more than StarClan is so difficult and all that.

"Because knowing more than StarClan is so difficult and all that"
Yeah. Except that BlunderClan cats generally have all the intelligence of a brick (no offense to the brick) so StarClan seems smart and awe-inspiring to them.

Chapter 19
“Please understand!”
Jaypaw is getting ready to come out of the closet at last.
““How’s Lionpaw?” Squirrelflight asked faintly. “I’m right here.” Lionpaw brushed her ear with his nose.”
Either Lionpaw misunderstood what she said or like Failstar he avoids direct questions.
“Squirrelflight rested her head down. “StarClan must be angry with us.” “Not us,” Lionpaw mewed. “It’s WindClan they’re angry with.”
Don’t even entertain the THOUGHT that Supremely Trivial And Redundant Clan (S.T.A.RClan) could betray their favorites.
“Squirrelflight managed a soft purr. “I’ll never leave you, little one.””
Stalkerrrrr.
And the Three decide to go look for Sol the glorified addict.
They’re walking, they’re walking...
“He couldn’t lose Sol now.”
Isn’t gay apprentice love cute?
“Suddenly Jaypaw scented ShadowClan.”
That sentence would have been just fine without the “suddenly.” As would almost every other one “suddenly” gets used in.

hm. So I just did some reading about cat body language. Remember when two cat were selecting hunters by pointing at them with their tails? Turns out that's not very nice.

xD Classic. They were dissing whoever they picked with their huge cat tail connected to both their bodies. That's just epic fail.

Chapter 20, Part 1
“…suddenly aware of how untidy she and her littermates looked.”
You just won’t give it up, will you, Erins?
“Would he be angry they tracked him down?”
I’d sure be ticked if three stalkers came after me.
““It’s not my business to give warnings.”
Then why did you?
“Why was Jaypaw sharing their deepest secret with a stranger?”
He’s in love with him. I hereby declare a new shipping: JayxSol.
“There was nothing beyond StarClan!”
…except the ability to be intelligent or useful.
“But Sol was staring at Lionpaw. “And you? I can see something that burns within.””
Really bad stomachaches, I’m betting.
“What was her special power?”
To have a negative I.Q, lower than any BlunderClan cat’s, which is pretty incredible.
“-so certain it felt like a thorn-sharp stab in her side-“
Erins. Thesaurus. Need I say more?

"Really bad stomachaches" -- Or heartburn. Come to think of it, did one of the Erins have heartburn when she came up with Fireheart's name?
"a thorn-sharp stab" -- If anything, "thorn-sharp" lowers the potency of the description and makes it sound less sharp. Where I come from, thorns don't do much stabbing, just some minor pricking.

"Come to think of it, did one of the Erins have heartburn when she came up with Fireheart's name?"
Got me. Maybe they thought it sounded like a strong name, heart of fire. Fire's strong and all, but technically yeah, it does sound like heartburn, or that his heart is burning, which is not good. Well, yes it is, but you know what I mean.
"Where I come from, thorns don't do much stabbing, just some minor pricking."
Me too. They only hurt fiercely and deeply if you're stupid enough not to pull them put when you first get them. Maybe English thorns are far more dangerous than ours. But I doubt it. -makes note to ask Rolo-

"Fire's strong and all, but technically yeah, it does sound like heartburn" -- and I'm not saying it's a bad name, but it does sound like an alternate term for that.
"They only hurt fiercely and deeply if you're stupid enough not to pull them put when you first get them." -- More like if you dig them into your flesh. By the way, I'm thinking of rather short thorns, like on roses. I doubt the Erins meant cactus thorns.
"-makes note to ask Rolo-" -- Yo! Rolo! -waves arms-
