Rainstripe glanced over at Sandwhisker, waiting for her to strike. She wanted Sandwhisker to get the first blow in so she'd know what to do. Still in the crouching position, she watched both the mother rat and Sandwhisker, wondering which would attack first. Then she looked back at Frozenheart, wondering what he was doing. Didn't he want to hunt rats with them?

ooc: Isn't power playing when you rp another person's character? I didn't put how the rat reacted to Sandwhisker, just what Sandwhisker herself did.

That's the thing.
It's powerplaying when you don't give the other character a chance to dodge or react.
Shortwhisker didn't trap the rat's tail. She tried to trap the rat's tail.
I'm the one who tells you if that worked or not.
Do I need to make a thread about powerplaying to explain this?
Besides, the rat isn't an idiot.
Rat hunts are difficult. Make it difficult on the cats.

Ooc: I see. I'll remember that. (hopefully)
Though a thread about powerplaying would be nice, to explain everything.
Bic: Rainstripe narrowed her eyes and leaped, hoping to scratch the rat's flank. However, her aim had been off slightly and she fervently hoped that the miscalculation would have little effect on her attack.
