Well, it's surely been a long time since I've posted anything here... And for that I apologize. I'm aware that I'm not the most active person out there; most of the veteran members here are good proof of that. Life has a great way of just becoming excruciatingly busy for me. I don't need to get too far into the details, seeing as I'd bore most of you.
Of course, if you must know the gist, I'm a classical singer and pianist. Though I'm already approaching level 7 out of the 10, meaning I can play 'Für Elise' and parts of 'Moonlight Sonata' easily Then again, the amount that can play the latter is smaller; the intervals can get crazy for someone with smaller hands. I'm on the same level for voice, though the difficulty is nothing crazy there for me. Because of that I choose to participate in a lot of contests and competitions, most of which take up a good part of my life.
I'm still quite interested in this site, still love checking in here and still very much enjoy making skins for it.
.... Speaking of which, what are people's opinions on it? I don't think I ever asked that when we changed the skin a while back. I'd love to know if there's anything in the future that you'd be interested in. If you have any ideas feel free to send me a PM about them and I'll see what I can do.
Glad to talk to all of you again!

Ooo, you're musician? Sweet. I hope you do well in all your competitions. I'd still like to see Brightfur someday. Woodstripe would too. x3 And psh, you know this skin is excellent, you compliment-fisher-for. You still up making for another one in the future? I've gathered up some new codes I'd like to implement, and at the moment I'm liking this font and this font.

-waves to cloud- Hullo! Nice to meet you as well; great to know you like the skin!
Thanks for the support, Ten. I'll definitely put Brightfur into more roleplay once this is all over, which is a matter of a couple weeks. Afterwards I only have to worry about 3 exams and two scholarship competitions, so I'll have more time on my hands.
As for making a new skin, I'm always up to it. It's fun to be able to play around and make whatever comes to mind while knowing that it would be put to good use and not just sitting at my skin testing site. I really like the look of the second font with bits of the first font; both of those would be fun to use! Do you have any ideas when it comes to theme or colors that you would like to see? Perhaps you want a brighter skin to fit the spring-summer? I'd love to stray away from the blue-black combination and try something different.

Perhaps an orange and yellow theme? I know I'm not a skin maker or anything, but it seems like it'd be good, what with it being bright, seasons changing, and the cats living in the desert and all...>.>

I have a design in mind for the side table headers (that is, certain text and its arrangement), and I want a simple tiled background that won't mess up on my wide desktop screen, but I fail at picking hex codes that go well together. I'm thinking use a light, dusty brown as a base color. For other colors, maybe lighter/darker browns. Still including blue would be awesome (perhaps as links or accents), but not our current blue. Navy or denim or greenish-blue turquoise -- those look good with brown. On a different note, I've been thinking about separating the boards into some new categories, and I'd like the new skin to have a sparse look, so no image headers for them. Even though the little thread images (reply, quote, bump) must be a pain in the butt, I still really like those. :x Otherwise it looks so generic. Yet I've found I really like the menu bar (home/help/search/etc) as text. Yes, I'm making complete sense here. >< So, hm... there's a pm bar code I want to use, and I like having a second layer mat-base-thing between the background and the boards... and like in this current skin, you should make the side-post-profile buttons (email/pm/website) the same color as the font. And I found this image. It would make a sweet banner, no? Oh and still I love these rank-indicator stars.

Heyo Spot! I totally love our skin, and although Ten's idea is great, d'you think we could also keep this one? Like, in some sites, you can choose between a variety of skins to view the site in. I think that option's in the profile page. Just a suggestion. o3o

Alright.
Cloud- An orange and yellow theme would be nice, however switching that directly from a dark black-orange skin can be harmful for the eyes. Personally, I like making more transitions between dark and light, having a 'middle' skin that's right in the middle. However, I do like the idea of that; perhaps something brighter for the summer months?
Ten- You being picky again xD But I really like the ideas you're throwing in. Let me dissect this and answer everything, haha. "I have a design in mind for the side table headers" -- Ooh, that saves me some time to have to keep changing the images to whatever you want. Do you think you could show me what it would look like, even if it's just a simple paint illustration or something? I'd like to be able to visualize it. As for the 'simple tiled background' you stated, that's quite easy for me to get. Don't worry too much about that one.
"I'm thinking use a light, dusty brown as a base color." -- I like that. And with a touch of blue, it would seem beach-like, but in a good way. I don't know if denim would be the best with a dusty brown, however the turquoise blue you mentioned would look nice once we found the right shade. If we're trying to add more bright colours we should stay away from the navy and other dark blues.
"...so no image headers for them." -- Roger.
"Even though the little thread images (reply, quote, bump) must be a pain in the butt, I still really like those. " -- Ah, they are kinda a hassle to make, however once you've made one you can easily go and change the text xD It's about a two hour process, but when you're finished they look awesome. I wasn't going to shy away and not make them, so no worries there. As for the top being text (such as the home, search, etc.) I understand what you mean; I'll leave that as text.
"So, hm... there's a pm bar code I want to use," -- I'd like to see that so I can add it to my skin-testing site. That way I can work with it, along with any other codes you'd like to throw in.
"...and I like having a second layer mat-base-thing between the background and the boards" -- I know what you mean. And yes, I'd keep that.
"...and like in this current skin, you should make the side-post-profile buttons (email/pm/website) the same color as the font." -- I should and I will.
"And I found this image. It would make a sweet banner, no?" -- I do like it. I'll make an image with it, see what I can do with it. I'll also explore a bit on my own and you can see what I've made once I'm happy with it. Compromise, no?
"Oh and still I love these rank-indicator stars." -- Good to know I'll keep them.
...That reminds me, I'll need to find new smilies for the skin.
Thistle- Hullo to you too! ^^ Can we also keep this one? Well, that depends on whether or not I can find a certain code. You see, when I make a skin I change all the images. Most of them change from skin to skin; such as the reply, add poll, etc. That wouldn't be a problem at all when it comes to changing skins. However, I don't just change images that are relating to the skin. For example, all the images in the side tables, the 'mat-thing-in-between' (for lack of better words), the category headers, etc. If I can find a code that would allow them to change in between skins then we could keep both. If not, it would just look weird switching in between. For example, if the side table images became a dusty brown against this dark grey.. It'd just be odd.
Hope I answered what everyone was wondering about. As well, I hope I made sense xD

"Ten- You being picky again" -- Am not. ;-; I just have a lot of suggestions. "Ooh, that saves me some time to have to keep changing the images to whatever you want. Do you think you could show me what it would look like, even if it's just a simple paint illustration or something?" -- Well, for the welcome table header I've got this, which I can edit later to whatever hex codes you pick. "And with a touch of blue, it would seem beach-like, but in a good way." -- For real? I was thinking American Southwest. But beach works too. "I don't know if denim would be the best with a dusty brown, however the turquoise blue you mentioned would look nice once we found the right shade. If we're trying to add more bright colours we should stay away from the navy and other dark blues." -- I had been thinking that, were you to choose a lighter brown, you might want a darker blue to balance it, but turquoise is gorgeous so let's go with that. "I'd like to see that so I can add it to my skin-testing site. That way I can work with it, along with any other codes you'd like to throw in." -- Expect a pm. "I do like it. I'll make an image with it, see what I can do with it. I'll also explore a bit on my own and you can see what I've made once I'm happy with it. Compromise, no?" -- Win-win situation.
