- In response, Beetlepaw has organized a secret crew of cons called the Rebellion who aim to sabotage the Experiment. For a list of participants, see Beetlepaw's section in Modd's notebook.
- The cats of the Experiment have elected Spiderstripe as leader and Redstream as deputy.
- Grimykit has murdered Branchkit. Speckledclaw, a witness, responded with rage and claws. Grimykit is now disfigured and nursing a grudge against the Clanner who didn't mind her "own stoned business".
