I'd like to have a particular word to refer to Starless role players in specific, as distinguished from others. What do y'all think? "People of Starless" is just not catchy enough. So what's another way to say "member"? A dictionary.com search got me words like "accomplice" and "comrade" - not the tone I'd be comfortable with. I have a few tentative suggestions, but I'm thinking y'all can come up with better.

- sols
- cohorts
- scribes

I think something like "insiders" would be good. Maybe "irretites"? "Irretitus" is the Latin word for "trapped", and that's kinda what our characters are.

but I don't want to make it sound like role players are trapped here
or that they hang from cave ceilings. |3

All I could find is "Ally." How does that sound? (In Latin that's socius, which sounds more awesome.)

Or indwellers, as in contrast with outsiders.

After a chatbox discussion, we've ruled out confreres, insiders, and cohorts. I'm leaning towards either scribes or denizens, and Spot favors scribes. Any other opinions?

I think Scribes, after hearing the meanings of the ones I considered, would be rather fitting for Starless.

Indwellers has a sort of charm to it too, though. As though Starless is a tight-nit community.
