Physical Description| To begin with, Dustfur is a simple but handsome pale brown tabby tom. He has darker brown stripes and a white chest and paws. Dustfur's eyes are a dark, piercing amber. His shoulders are broad and powerful, and his fur is short and bristly.
Views| Dustfur is for the Clan. If it were to come about, he would be interested in being leader.

History| Like some, Dustfur was born into a small family. It consisted of his father, a sweet and gentle cat named Mudheart and Dustfur's arrogant and prideful mother Harestorm. As kittens, their grandfather Brownclaw would come and visit to tell his grandkits of the ancient clan.
Right before Dustfur and his siblings were ready to become apprentices, both Mudheart and Dustfur's younger sister Goldenkit became ill. The sickness quickly took its toll, and Mudheart and Goldenkit died.
When they were old enough, Dustfur's mother insisted on training then Dustpaw and Barkpaw herself, since she didn't want Mudheart to train them. One day during a training session, Barkpaw sprained his back foot, and had to stay back at their camp to let it heal. It was during this time that Dustpaw and Harestorm discovered how much alike they were, and how much they annoyed each other.
Fortunately, Barkpaw's sprained foot healed and was back to training. The three trained vigorously, and soon Dustpaw and Barkpaw received their warrior names. Barkpaw became Barkstripe and Dustpaw became Dustfur.
At one point, Dustfur met a tomcat named Hailfoot. Hailfoot and Dustfur became fast friends, mostly because of their same view of reforming the clan. When Hailfoot and Harestorm originally met, the two utterly despised each other. But, as time progressed Hailfoot and Harestorm warmed up to each other. Eventually, Hailfoot began living with Dustfur and what was left of his family.
One evening, Dustfur discovered Hailfoot and Harestorm together, and Dustfur put the pieces together. The following day, Dustfur confronted the two, and Harestorm sternly told Dustfur the truth. That they were, "romantically involved."
After what seemed like forever, Harestorm gave birth to her second and last litter. It was long and difficult, and Harestorm died in the process of delivering her only living kit, a very pale, speckled gray kit named Speckledkit. Due to having no mother to take care of her, Speckledkit died within only hours of her birth. Both upset and angry over the loss of his mother, Dustfur left the depressed Hailfoot and the grief-stricken Barkstripe to fend for themselves.
