Opening her eyes from her small nap, Sandfur pulled her head from her paws, then pulled her whole body into a sitting position, not the most relaxed one; I may add. Giving her chest one swift and rough lick, the sand-colored warrior's ears perked up at the sound of a Clan. A foolish idea, Thought she, resisting the urge to attack the cat who had spoke about it.
Before long, the she-cat had become curious of the little chat, as stalked as close as she could without being suspected of wrong doings. After a bit, Sandfur's eyes were narrowed towards Woodstripe. So, the cat thought being leader would be fun, eh?

Woodstripe made sure to regulate her pace as she left Brushface, hoping not to appear rushed or uneasy after her encounter with the insane she-cat. Her green eyes swept the area and found Sandfur. The tabby dipped her head in greeting and approached, despite the obvious distaste, to say the least, in the sandy cat's demeanor.
"Hello, Sandfur. How goes your morning?" she asked with a big politician smile. "...You seem somewhat distressed about something, am I wrong? If you're hungry, I can gather some cats to hunt with us. Or it could just be the heat getting to you; I know how that is."

To her surprise, Woodstripe padded to /her/. Straightening her back to seem bigger than she was, she calmly dipped her head in equal greeting. "I am simply fine," She meowed, showing no sign of emotion; just a simple flattness and steady pase. What had made this cat want to speak with her? Stretching her toes in an uncomfortable silence, she wiggled her nose. "The heat /is/ rather distasteful," She commented, giving her chest a lick.
Of course it was rather obvious why Woodstripe even bothered to speak with her; if you were to be leader you would need to have the whole Clan- or whatever it was- on your side, no objections to decisions and trust.

Sandfur hadn't said much, but she had spoken, and thus Woodstripe found something to pick out and campaign with. "You're right, I've been thinking about that. We shouldn't have to put up with such extremes in temperature. The walls are solid but as you can see from these shafts of light, there are gaps. Perhaps we - that is, everyone - could work on wearing down the thin spots and creating more gaps. My theory is that this will increase ventilation. What do you think?"
