If we were to reach a decision to make a clan, would the leader's name end with ____star?

mmm. I'm not sure.
It all depends on how the role play progresses and what cats choose to do.
However, I don't think anyone remembers past leader names.

Well, if they knew what happened, shouldn't they know the names of the cats involved?

Not if the only cats who knew never spoke their names again. Besides, the star suffix was used to illustrate the leader's connection to StarClan.

But the cats don't know what stars are. Even if they knew that previous leaders' names ended with star, they would be naming themselves after something they don't know. Besides, I don't think any new leader would /want/ to be connected to the previous leaders, seeing as the previous leader and deputy were the ones that got the cats stuck in the enclosure in the first place.

I'd assume that it would be -sand as a suffix since they control what happens in the desert, and the suffix would show it.
