[Thistle]

"Yessiree, this place is just puhfect!" A small tom looked around, waving his tail in the hot air. "Lots o' cats around and a nice lil' rock just fer me!"

A stone jutted out of the hard-packed earth, rising a few inches of the ground. Dullpaw leaped onto it and pulled his lips back into a toothy grin. "And now I jus' needa wait fer somebody to come 'ere and, and, uh..." He trailed off. He hadn't gotten that far into the plan yet.

Then the gray tabby had a brilliant idea.

"Hunt! Cuz I am gonna be the leader of a Clan, and they all need ta pay their respects to meh! Yessiree." He nodded dramatically and sat down to wait.

[Ten]

A passing tom couldn't help but notice the spectacle. "Hey, watchu sittin' there an' talkin' ta yerself fer?" Grimykit asked. He circled the stone, looking Dullpaw up and down with half-lowered lids. "Ya crazy er somethin'?"

[Thistle]

Dullpaw jerked his head up to see a tall tabby speaking to him. Eyes narrowing, he spat back, "How dare ya talk to meh like that! It's none of yer business anyways, so shuddup, will ya? I gots no time fer ya, so get your butt movin' unless ya wanna hunt fer meh."

[Ten]

"How dares I, huh? How dares I? I'll tell ya how I dare. Jus'. Like. This," Grimykit declared, waving his tail (and rear) at Dullpaw's face.

[Thistle]

"Eww!" The tom wrinkled up his nose, batting the air with a forepaw. "Scram, ya useless ole' cricket. Or you'll be meh first prisona' when I makes a Clan. Oh yessiree! Then you'll have ta be unda' guard with some otha idiots like yaself."

Then, as if that settled it, Dullpaw dropped back onto his haunches and casually washed a paw, ignoring Grimykit.

[Ten]

Grimykit fell on his back laughing. "Ewww!" he mimicked in a high-pitched voice. "Clan prisoner, yeah right. Ain't no Clan and never will be, like I always says. 'Sides, ain't nothin' can hold me down." He wiggled his eyebrows. "Jus' ask them ladies."

[Thistle]

"Yer wrong! Wrong wrong wrong wrong! 'Cause I iz the one that'll make the Clan 'round here, yessiree. An' I bet I could squash ya and make ya cry home to yer mummy and dada!"

[Darky [Megan]]

Speckledclaw couldn't help a sarcastic loud retch when she heard Grimykit, in spite of herself. "You best not be too cocky, you," Speckledclaw told the tom in her trademark snap. As a rule, Speckledclaw detested sexist cats, and Grimykit, just after a tiresome and stressful round of rat-hunting, was a key target for picking on.

"Just 'cause she-cats is she-cats it doesn't at all mean that they can't be half as tough as any tom. I hope, for your own sake, that you realise that."

Since liquid time's permitted, Speckledclaw should be able to exist in this board and in the debate, yarps?
I can't remember if Speckledclaw ever crossed Grimykit before.

[Ten]

"Well as far as makin' Clans goes, looks like Woodstripe's got ya beat, buddy boy," Grimykit gibed. He then turned his gaze on Speckledclaw and scooted over to her, cooing, "Hey, speakin' a she-cats, here's one right now. Wha's yer name, pretty kitty?"

Also, I don't think a cat covered in scars with a mangled tail of fur could be considered a 'pretty kitty'. Then again, Grimykit calls most she-cats that ....
