Hello, I am new to the world of Starless, and I have a question about insect species being used as the prefixes of names. After reading the naming guide and viewing some the characters, I found that prefixes such as Locust, Beetle, and Cricket are permitted. My question concerns other types of insects. As they live in the desert, they are sure to encounter certain species of creepy-crawlies, but which ones? Are prefixes like Scorpion, Moth, Wasp, and Ant permitted? Thanks to whoever answers this.

"As they live in the desert, they are sure to encounter certain species of creepy-crawlies, but which ones?" -- Since this isn't a real desert, you aren't restricted to, say, only Chihuahuan desert or Sahara desert species. If it can live in a desert, it's likely to be here. I'd like you to stick with the more well-known and wide-spread species, however.
"Are prefixes like Scorpion, Moth, Wasp, and Ant permitted?" -- As long as the cat looks like a scorpion, moth, wasp, or ant. However, I would think ants beyond cats' notice, and I'm not sure how easy it would be for a cat to look like a wasp.

I suppose a tabby cat could have wasp-like stripes, but I'm not sure about that one, now that you mention it. Scorpians come in a variety of colours, so I'm assuming that a black or dark brown cat could be called 'Scorpiankit' or what not. Thanks again. ;D
