I've been wondering about this since I decided to create a kit who'd need a mentor.
After my kit has completed his training, he would be given a warrior name, yes? So how will I be able to put this in his bio? Ten, would you have us adjust the bio to fit his current age?
I'm not sure if this comes under 'renaming'.
Also, I looked at the Warrior Names thread in the Rules board and Ten mentioned 'names based on circumstances of birth' as being disallowed. Could you please define this?
Finally, was Grimykit named for his pelt?

Though this is unrelated tot the topic, to say the least, I have another query.
Ten has talked about liquid time, and has responded to a question I asked of whether or not cats would be able to recognise other cats they've talked to in a different board. Ten said yes. Apparently it is not so, though. Then how, I ask, are the characters to build ties? Will what happens in one board only apply to other boards wen that board is concluded?

"he would be given a warrior name, yes?"
Yup.
"So how will I be able to put this in his bio?"
You mean besides modifying the post to show the new name?
"Ten, would you have us adjust the bio to fit his current age?"
Of course. The bios are not permanent once they're accepted. They're meant to change as the characters change. You can even add important events to their history.
"I'm not sure if this comes under 'renaming'."
By "no renames" I meant "no changing a cat's prefix".
"Could you please define this?"
This cat was born in the sand. Sandkit! No. Or... This cat was born in a time without hope. Forlornkit! No.
"Finally, was Grimykit named for his pelt?"
Of course. By grimy, I mean having the color of grime, which is blackish-brownish.
"Apparently it is not so, though."
...um?
"Then how, I ask, are the characters to build ties?"
The same way they would anywhere else? How would they not build ties?
"Will what happens in one board only apply to other boards when that board is concluded?"
If I understand what you're saying like I think I do, then no.
