"If I could let another cat who birthed around the same time do it that would be good..." -- mmhm. She would view that cat as her mother, then.
>> Sort of... but it's not her real mother.
"They didn't really grow up enough around their father to have his opinions really set in them." -- Somebody had to raise them. You can't just throw a couple of kittens into the ring and have them grow up safe and sound with no one to help but a few friendly acquaintances. Making friends isn't what they need. They need parents.
>> Their father raised them, it's just his opinions didn't set in deep enough.

"Sort of... but it's not her real mother." -- She'd nurse her, she'd raise her, she'd form a bond with her...
"Their father raised them, it's just his opinions didn't set in deep enough." -- Hold on, how long was he with them?

"Yeah, that's true." -- You can restrict the Kin section to naming only biological relations, if you want, but in her History you'll have to explained what happened with her adoptive mother.
"Only until they started walking and moving around inside the wall." -- Only until they started walking, and then they were just supposed to fend for themselves? Who were their main guardians?
