Grimykit recoiled, then arched his back and hissed. His tabby fur fluffed and his tail thrashed. The furious feline was now prepared to do some damage to that whiny Spiderpaw.
"Do that again. I dares ya."

Copperthroat, "Oh? Well, you deserve to be beaten from here to the end of this darned place, but you don't see me doing it, do you?" He demanded, his claws sinking into the ground, "You don't have to say it, I can tell by the way you talk. You're the one planning everything, acting as if you're our boss already."

Spiderpaw glared. "I'm only making suggestions. I'm not saying that's the only way a Clan can be." She had never felt like this before. But now she felt like attacking both of them. 'Is this hatred?' she wondered. 'I shouldn't feel like this. It isn't right. What would happen if we were in a Clan and I was acting like this?' She made feeble inward attempts to calm herself down. They worked... a tiny bit.

Snorting ill termpely, Copperthroat stepped forward until he could brush whiskers with Spiderpaw, "Maybe you should listen to yourself, it'd do you alot of good," He growled. Right now, he wasn't afraid of attacking her. If the others joined in, he had help and, besides, if it came down to escaping, Copperthroat knew he could probaly outdistance them.
Probaly.
The tom blinked as he realized that he had been avoiding putting weight on his left foreleg, 'Scratch that,' He thought, 'it'd be fight or die for me.'

Spiderpaw gulped. She could probably take Grimykit, but not Copperthroat or any of the others. 'Maybe I should leave,' she thought. However, she didn't want to back away - that would show weakness. So she stood there, trying not to look intimidated.

Copperthroat could feel the waves of unease coming off her and despite his hatred for her, the tom admired her. She clearly had enough strength to stand her ground, but that could also mean ignorance. The feeling he had towards the Clan idea grew; he did not want to be with a group of ignorant cats.
He wanted to be alone- he wanted all cats to be alone. It had been as such for so long and it had worked, so far. True, he thought the cats should die out, but if it was between a clan and the cats never dying out- he'd choose the latter.

Woodstripe, in all her cheery confidence, had a habit of ignoring social tensions.
The large, tabby she-cat trotted toward the group, tail high. "Salutations!" she chimed, tone bright and amiable. "I see many cats have gathered here. You seem to be having a lively discussion, yes?" She beamed and took a seat among them. "May I partake in this conversation with you? If so, could I perhaps hear a brief summary of the current topic? You all seem like you'd have such intriguing things to say."

Chopperthroat's gaze switched to the new cat. He had not met her face to face before, but he had heard about her. If what he had heard was right, this she-cat was heavily pro-clan. Wrinkling his nose in disgust, the tom grunted, he would not answer her- he'd rather she left.

Frailheart answered, "The topic of discussion is the idea of a Clan, and for a while there was a minor discussion about life." She couldn't help laughing for a second before continuing. "You are welcome to take part in our argument." The expression on her face showed plainly what she was thinking: she was amused and wanted to see what Woodstripe thought of the topic.
Bronzefoot glanced at the newcomer. She sounded so prim and proper he almost gagged. She broadcasted that she was a Clanner and she seemed proud of it.

"Argument? Well, I see no reason for you to use such a term. You suggest there are hostilities accompanying your words. Are there?" She tilted her head. "You can't be getting yourselves rankled over something so simple, now, can you? We all know, in basic form, about the idea of a Clan. What's to disagree on?"
