Posts Can Be Deceiving

So, from reading everyone's posts and generally getting a feel for their internet personality, I have my own, likely flawed, ideas about what you all look like.

Ten
•Tall. Intimidatingly tall. And thin.
•Long, black hair that's always pin-straight
•Ice blue eyes and intense stare
•Pale skin
•Always wears a navy blue or black suit
•Wears the small square glasses- international sign of intelligence!
•Often seen glaring. Like this, but without the caption beneath.

Cloud
•Average height
•Medium-length curly brown hair
•Brown/hazel eyes
•Always smiling
•Wears jeans and funny t-shirts
•Has to wear glasses to read- rectangle glasses?

Ducky
•....I AM DUCKY! >D

Gosh
•Short but not midget-short
•Short, straight dark brown hair with bangs brushed to one side
•Dark brown eyes perpetually stuck in the puppy-dog face
•Wears dark clothes and always wears a hoodie
•Always has a serious face

Thistle
•Short
•Looks younger than she really is
•Long wavy blond hair
•Grey eyes
•Is covered in freckles
•Wears colorful clothes and always has a red backpack.
•Has braces with bright orange bands

Darky
•Average height
•Medium-length straight black hair with bangs
•Dark brown eyes
•Wears black eyeliner, but not in an emo way where black paint is smeared around the entire eye, making it look like one just got punched in the face by an angry zebramole; she wears eyeliner the way it was meant to be worn by sane and logical human beings
•Looks older than she really is
•Wears jeans, cool looking optical illusion tees, and a striped scarf
•Always carries a sketchbook and drawing materials

Nefeli
•Tall, but not as tall as Ten. NOBODY ON STARLESS IS TEN'S HEIGHT
•Red-brown hair which is the perfect-ringlets kind of curly and about chest-length
•Green eyes! Because of the song...
•About 16
•Usually wears skirts or dresses in autumn colors
•Always has ipod earbuds in and is always listening to music.

So, what do you guys think the cast of Starless looks like? Feel free to post your own interpretations and correct me if I'm wrong. (Yes, I know my Ten looks nothing like Ten, but it's how I have and will always picture Ten.) If I missed anyone, I apologize!
I can't wait to see what your brains have come up with!

I have a pathetic tendency to just picture folks as their avatars and not really flesh them out as people in my mind. It's horrible of me to say this and all, but if I really thought about it, about how y'all are real people with lives and families and eyeballs and a pair of silly-looking ears, it would freak me out and I wouldn't be able to talk to you.

I'm not good with people.


But I love how folks tend to picture me tall with straight, dark hair. Wish I could match up with the expectations. I am very pale, though.


I like your interpretations, Ducky. I would expect Darky/Megan to have those pretty Asian eyes, though, which you didn't include. And Cloud's hair is really short, by the way, which I find odd since I used to think of her as long-hair type. I'm afraid I can't explain my reasoning for that.


Also, what is the song about green eyes?

Green Eyes is a song by Coldplay. It is beautiful. Nefeli is a fellow Coldplay fan, so I end up associating her with them, and therefore she has green eyes in my mind.
Yeah, I guess Darky would have Asian eyes, but I tend to focus more on eyes color than shape so I just put dark brown.

Really, Ten? That's so interesting. I love picturing my internet friends as real people, with lives and families and whatnot. Which is why I sometimes ask stalkerish questions about people. I love making new friends, but I don't like meeting new people, which is contradictory, but I'm always afraid people will hate me/think I'm weird. That's why I love my internet friends- you all are just as crazy as me and won't judge me and once I become friends with someone on the internet, I start wishing they were my real-life friends.

I am strange and have a lot of strange friends.
So do you picture me with an awesome face and semi-glomping a hot England cosplayer? XD

hm. I have no immediate answer ready, but if I think a moment, I can come up with an image I would associate you with.

You're a swimmer.
I know some swimmers at my school.
One of them is very tall with long, long, wavy brown hair,
a rectangular face, and a cute little pinched nose.

I could picture you like her, except you don't seem like you'd have a nose like that.

Cloud is indeed average height. 5'6

She in fact has short brown hair a bit more than two inches past her ears, which is straight except at the ends that hang past her ears where it curls into weird little swirly points.

My eyes are...half hazel and half grayish-bluish something. o.O Can't really tell. But definitely part hazel.

Not always smiling, but a lot of the time, yes. Especially in school.

I do wear jeans and funny t-shirts. |D When I'm not in school, where I have to wear khaki pants or my kilt, and a white, navy or black shirt. Not bad though, since I could care less about what I wear. -just throws things on that vaguely go together-

I HAS NO GLASSES. NEVER HAS I HAD THEM. /hopes not to/ Though if I do I want ones like those.

Hmm....Well, I actually have short-medium curly brown hair. But not the perfect ringlets curly. The stupid bush-head curly.
My face is rectangular though. And I am semi-tall.

Also correct, although my hair has gotten a bit longer than I've kept it for most of the year (it's nearly shoulder-length now), and my hair can get a bit wavy sometimes.

I can't say that's true about the puppy-dog face. My range of facial expressions is very wide. And while my eyes are brown, they're not dark brown.

My clothes are usually cool colors - purple, green, blue, and black - but they're not necessarily all that dark. Most of the time. I also do have a tendency to wear a hoodie.

•Always has a serious face -

So for the most part, these are true. However, you haven't been able to discern that I:

•wear glasses
•have quite a few freckles (though not nearly as many as my redheaded siblings)
•wears a scarf and boots 90% of the time
•carry around a sketchbook and drawing supplies as well as a writing journal
•am always listening to music

I have a few random freckles scattered on my limbs. (about 4-5) I also have braces, (roar) and one of my feet is slightly shorter than the other one. ;P Gosh does sound adorable. Almost as adorable as Ten.

xD Ten, you make me laugh. -has no problem picturing everyone as real people- Not that I'm good at picturing your appearances so much as the fact that yes, you exist outside my computer. I picture you as a cute little hobbit-like person with an epic srsface and glasses. And now freckles and a writing notebook~

I never carry around any one thing because I'd lose it. |D /fail memory I do tend to wear this one necklace, though.

Here's a few more things I feel compelled to point out:

I sometimes wear necklaces, sometimes not. There's a simple chain necklace that I've worn every day since I got it, but it's gotten a bit tarnished. That's the thing - With any jewelry, I tend to either wear it somewhat obsessively, and then it breaks or goes bad or some way, or I almost never wear it. Oh well.

I always wear a watch. I've been wearing watches for so long that not only would I miss the ease at which I know the time, but my wrist feels bare without one.

I never wear makeup. Ever. I also don't have my ears pierced and don't plan on getting them pierced in the future. I probably won't get anything else pierced either. I'm not averse to tattoos, however.

My hair is straight enough when it's long, or even medium-length (although it's thick enough to never be too straight) but when it's short, it becomes very wavy and messy. I like it that way.

Also, Ten, for some reason Cloud calling you adorable called up an imagining of you in my mind's eye. You are slightly short, with very straight, not-quite-shoulder-length black hair, with rectangular glasses and a few freckles and pale skin. You have a srsface that contradicts big, dark, adorable eyes. And... that's about it, really. I shall have to see whether this conversation draws out more inspiration as to what you guys look like, seeing as I usually don't think about it.
