Well, hi. o3o I'm new here, as you can probably tell, and I just got to working on my bio. I thought it strange that there was no personality or age field in the bio. I can see age of being little object, though it could be used to further develop the character, but personality? I've never seen a site where personality isn't required, and I was wondering whether there was a reason for that...? That's much more important to me than the cat's appearance, at least. -shrugs- I know you can (and will) develop that through the actual roleplay, but it's helpful to most people to have a plan written out for the character before they start to play with them.
Thanks <3

I can see why this puzzles you, Lemon, but let me explain. :3
Age, as you said, is of little consequence, because here there are no formal ceremonies based on aging - at least, none that are carried out consistently. Also, there are no moons to count by, only seasons, making age less precise anyway.
The best person to answer as to why there is no personality section is Ten, but I'm fairly certain I can sum up what she told me pretty well: There is no personality section because however long and descriptive we can write them, we will never express them fully. True, personality sections are easy to have. True, they make roleplay easier - I don't deny it, as I'm on another much different but just as good in quality site that has one on its apps. But personality depends a lot on history, and occasionally is influenced by or influences beliefs, so it can be shown there as well.

The lack of a designated personality section is, as you suspected, deliberate. If you can't express your character's personality through their views and what they've done in the past, then you won't be able to show anything through a paragraph of adjectives. It's okay for you to make some notes to yourself on how you plan for your cat to behave (it's not like anyone can enforce a rule against that), but personality sections are difficult to evaluate and impossible to write with any depth.
