Please realize that I'm not leaving Starless or anything silly like that. I really couldn't just leave Starless, even though I'm not on here half the amount of time that I should be. That inactivity is one reason why I am taking a super-long hiatus from Starless. What are my reasons for doing such a thing? D:
Well, for one thing I've streched myself too thin.... again. For my freshman year of High School I decided to take Band, an IR, Gym, Honors Geometry, Honors Spanish II, Honors World History, Honors Physical Science, and Honors English. The Honors classes aren't too bad, but the workload is more than I expected. I have two essays due by the end of the month, both assigned to me this week. Yay?
I also found out that Geometry just isn't my forte. At all. x3
So I need to study my butt off just to pass a test in that class.
Aside from academics, I'm in the school marching band. I am extremely passionate about band and love it and its 250 members to death, but it's a real life and time sucker. I have two two and a half hour practices for it a week and have a game or two to march in on the weekends.
Thheennn I have swimming, which only gets harder since I plan to swim both for club and my high school. That means two swim practices back-to-back, which also means swimming from 5-9pm probably three days a week.
I also have my own role play site which is fighting to stay alive at the moment. It has some of my best friends on it and people who must have the site, so I must tend to Somewhere in the Night and must help it to the best of my abilities.
If all goes well and I adapt to my new schedule fairly well, SN recovers and I actually pass my first semester of Geometry I should be back around Christmas time.
Anyways, I'm sorry to be leaving. I'm going to miss you all, but it's something I have to do. Don't delete me, dear miss Ten, because I do plan on coming back sometime in the future. (: I'm glad Littlestorm wasn't too involved in the plot, because I would hate to mess anything or anyone up here. You all are an amazing bunch and I will miss you all while I am gone! |
