"Speckledclaw is lovely to play," -- She's lovely to read. x)
"So far I haven't been able to roleplay a character that fully embraces the evulz." -- Everyone has a justification or excuse (in their minds) for the bad things they do, so any character that thinks "mwahaha, I'm going to be especially evil today"... isn't one I'm likely to accept. But then, I take it you just mean cats who do evil things, like Grimykit (Starless' ultimate villain, no?).
"I had the fortune of having my name be the butt of a joke that went pretty nasty about two years ago, and the same guys came to my school and started spreading it around," -- That's awful. D:

I feel flattered. xD
"So far I haven't been able to roleplay a character that fully embraces the evulz."
Me neither. I tried to make a bloodthirsty, sadistic cat, but she just didn't work out. d:

It's hard to make an evil cat. You have to come up with motivation, then you have to make sure they don't sound cheesy.

Mmm. Darkfur is an annoying jerk, but he's not truly evil. Just mostly unfeeling for other cats. Ditto for Hailpaw. Stupid, dumb, sick, and a slut she may be, but she's not all evil. I can't call her that, much to my dismay. ._.

That's because there's no such thing as an "evil" person. There are only people who do evil things. And that's everyone.

Some people do more evil things than others.

That is true. However, it's always hard to define good and evil. Well, not always. But sometimes.

Some people do more evil things than others. Perhaps. How then do you quantify this? Tally marks? A point system based on the number of people affected and to what degree? Humans were never meant to judge these things. We have a justice and penal system, and that's the best we can do. It's easy to define good and evil. That's plain enough. But people? They're far more complex.

Uh....I'd say something, but I'd probably be wrong.
