Physical Description| He has a narrow face and a brown mackerel-tabby pelt. His left eye is green, while his right has a fresh scar from a fight, leaving him half-blind. His body is tall and lean. He's past warrior age, but his parents had never even bothered to give him the apprentice suffix.

Views| A Clan would be bad news and a leader would be worse. The last thing Grimykit wants is someone telling him what he can and can't do. He considers himself entitled to steal and thinks of himself as independent, despite relying on others for food.

History| Grimykit and his four siblings were born to parents who scavenged and stole for food, meaning he grew up learning how to fight rather than hunt. Whenever his mother expressed concern or doubt about their lifestyle to her mate, he would convince her that they had no choice. Besides, there was no law saying they couldn't take what they needed. Every family for itself.

One day a few furious cats banded together, chased down, and lynched Grimykit's parents. They spared the seven-month-old kits, for they were viewed as innocent victims. It wasn't their fault they were raised that way.

A month later the river flooded. Out of all five kits, only Grimykit survived. He doesn't remember how it happened or the soft-hearted she-cat that helped him stay above the churning water. When Grimykit woke from unconsciousness the next day, he had no idea that she died saving his life.

Since then he has lived as his parents did, stealing when hungry and putting up a fight when caught. Cats used to tolerate him because of his youth - he doesn't take much and it'd be wrong to kill a cat so young. As he grew older, however, he's become more of an agitator, and few are willing to put up with him. Not long ago, in a fight over a lizard and breeding rights, he murdered a young Clanner by the name of Branchkit. She was his first kill. He then proceeded to mutilate her corpse.

Speckledclaw, who happened to arrive on the scene, was horrified. She attacked him at once. Grimykit was still too exhausted to fight a live cat and soon sank to grovelling for his life. She granted it, but she also left him without a right eye.
