"Fur lapping her belly." -- Oh wow. I didn't even notice that. Fur lapping her belly. -snort-
"Leafsue has heat vision." -- Strange, I thought heat vision allowed one to see heat, not convert one's sight into heat.
"It's possible if he feels his religion isn't right for him and wants to switch." -- "Isn't right for him" makes it sound like one of those medications they advertise on TV. I'm thinking the Erins are looking for a new (living) villain and have decided the best source of villainy is a cat who doesn't respect the weak and dawdling StarClan.
"Belief in StarClan is an insult to religions." -- I cannot express how correct this is.

"Strange, I thought heat vision allowed one to see heat, not convert one's sight into heat"
It can mean both, I've been told, though I think one seeing heat is also called thermal vision, but I don't know for certain.
""Isn't right for him" makes it sound like one of those medications they advertise on TV."
It does, you're right. xD
"I'm thinking the Erins are looking for a new (living) villain and have decided the best source of villainy is a cat who doesn't respect the weak and dawdling StarClan."
He goes to believing in the next book, unfortunately. On a random tangent, as of the latest book Firestar only has three lives left, huzzah.
"I cannot express how correct this is."
Why thank you. You deserve some credit for it, as you helped me to learn it.

The problem with Starclan is that they do absolutely freakin' nothing and make the cats wig out over every single bent blade of grass because 'it's a sign.' Real religions have leaders who actually help them and accomplish things. The only thing Starclan does for the cats is give the leaders 9 lives.
Firestar only has 3 lives? Yes! The character that kills him gets a medal. A giant fat one. Made of real gold.

Let's review how he's died:
1. Killed by Scourge 2. Killed by a rat 3. Killed by a falling tree 4. Killed in the fox trap 5. Killed by greencough 6. Killed by injuries from a fox
Yay.

Chapter 10
“She was trembling, her pelt hot with panic.”
I’d think it would be her skin, not her fur that was hot.
“Her paws felt numb with sleep. And even the early-morning chill couldn’t chase away her weariness.”
While I suppose this is legitimate, cold usually wakes you up instead if making you less weary.
“Thornclaw sat in the clearing, holding his tail down with a paw as he washed the tip.”
So apparently it’s either very windy (which has not been mentioned) or Thornclaw suffers from such harsh gas attacks that they blow his tail backwards. >.>
““Leafpool says a kit needs to be seen before it can be named.”
GASPETH! Or it least it probably is for people who think up ridiculous names for that to be seen in print.
Chapter 11
While the last one was short, this one is rather long.
“”The moon was high; Jaypaw could feel its light wash his pelt.”
Jaypaw. Is. Just. That. Special. That. He. Can. Flipping. Feel. Moonlight. e-e –dies a little inside-
“Calm radiated from the medicine cat like moonbeams.”
How do moonbeams…radiate? I thought they beamed…or shone…or something. And why would Leafpool radiate moonbeams?
““How about we call him Bumblekit?”
News flash: Millie’s three kits have just been born (gray tabby male, dark brown female, tortoiseshell and white female). While I don’t have a problem with the name Bumblekit, it does sound kind of weird. Also, don’t know how only one of the kits was gray when their parents were both gray. O3o?
“…hot sunshine warmed his back.”
Is sunshine ever not hot?
““At least they’ll have proper warrior names,” he muttered. He had clearly not forgotten that Millie had refused a Clan name.”
This is Dustpelt speaking here, and he is right in being annoyed that Snobface (my new nickname for Millie) refused a traditional and required name. More proof of Failstar’s lameness.
“His fur is longer than ours-dark brown and white with splashes of bright tortoiseshell—“
Yay genetic impossibilities! -_- I am starting to wonder if the Erins know anything about cats at all. “Creative license” doesn’t cut it.
““I-I…” Thornclaw seemed lost for words, and Jaypaw sensed confusion clouding the warrior’s thoughts. He was no longer sure why he had led a perfect stranger to the heart of ThunderClan territory. It had just seemed like the right thing to do.”
Sol is Just. That. Special. He must have some strong drugs on him, because no matter how speshul a cat may be, any sensible warrior wouldn’t lead them straight to camp without knowing what they would do.
““I am honored to meet you.”
Sol has heard of Failstar, apparently. Wonder who from. Though apparently the praise for Pansy still hasn’t gone away. –sigh-
“She feels his power too!”
No, Leafsue just feels his drugs and wants to share needles with him.
““Darkness is coming,” he hissed.”
Of course it is, Sol deary. We call it night in these parts.
““Your faith is noble, but can StarClan really know everything?”” Sol gets a smiley face sticker just for this. Let’s give him a big round of applause, people.
“But Leafpool flicked the tip of her tail across his mouth to keep him from saying anything.”
So she was butt-facing him while she talked to Sol? How rude. Smelly, too.
“We will continue to trust in them for all the moons to come.””
Stupid Leafsue. StarClan can’t do boo, don’t you know?
“…as they scampered through the thorn barrier.”
News flash: Foxpaw and Icepaw can become intangible. Either that or they have shrinking powers.
““It doesn’t matter” he mewed.”
Heck yes it does. You have just received a serious warning. Why not tell your brother Mr. Stu?

It happens to me. When I run in cold weather, I'm more energetic than when it's hot and humid.

How do you not have a problem with the name Bumblekit? It sounds totally degrading.

"It happens to me. When I run in cold weather, I'm more energetic than when it's hot and humid."
True, true. I'm much more energetic in cold weather than in hot, usually.
"DIE JAYSTU"
DIE ERINS, DIE SOON IN TORMENT! (opposite of live long and prosper, teh Vulcan greeting)
"How do you not have a problem with the name Bumblekit? It sounds totally degrading."
Hmmm, fair point, Ducky. What does Ten think? -calls for teh resident hobbit Ten-

"make the cats wig out" -- I love that figure of speech, "wig out". I pictured a cat doing a spooked flip.
"1. Killed by Scourge" -- I still don't understand why that didn't take all of his lives.
"How do moonbeams…radiate?" -- Radiate means to come out in rays from a central point/area. Make sense?
"And why would Leafpool radiate moonbeams?" -- She wouldn't. She'd radiate calm.
"Also, don’t know how only one of the kits was gray when their parents were both gray." -- mm... I don't have enough knowledge of cat color genetics to say if that's plausible or not. It depends on how dominant the gray gene is and what their parent's ancestry is.
"Is sunshine ever not hot?" -- Yes. When it's cold.
"dark brown and white with splashes of bright tortoiseshell" -- What? uh, do they not know what tortoiseshell is?
"What does Ten think?" -- How does a kit look like a bumble? Not a bee. A bumble.
And I am not your resident hobbit. I'm your friendly neighborhood menace.
