He has no way of blaming other cats unless he's the leader and has power. Otherwise the other cats will rip him to shreds.

It changes his actions. Like an example would be from being nice to becoming evil. It sort of changed his opinion on the twisted world that he lives in.

No, he's just not smart. He tends to overlook simple things and instead makes them challenging.
