"Rainstripe went on a rat-hunting expedition with him and Sandwhisker, remember?" -- Did someone introduce him?

"You use big words for a cat who's alone," the tabby she-cat said calmly. "Surely, you don't want to start a fight with all three of us? I don't think that you're necessarily weak, but you definitely would not win against all of us." This was trufax plz true, seeing as the the other she-cat was outnumbered.
"But, still, Whitey," she continued, "I don't find it necessary, either, that you should go and do something like that. Very... impolite, in others' views. Not particularly in mine, but maybe for her." Her tail flicked towards Mottledpaw and she nodded.
"Very well, Rainstripe; I'll explain." It was amazing how she could go from immature to polite in that amount of time. But, talking in such a way didn't necessarily mean she was smart, but she wasn't stupid, either. Maybe she was just smart in her own way, if that made any sense at all.
"Those... Clanners were attracted to that area by a fight. I'm surprised by how bad they are at being able to tell a fake fight from a real one, though, because that fight over there was surely fake. In other words, the fake fight was set up by a few other cats and I. Why? We needed a way to get our.. 'spy' into the mini-clan of theirs." She snorted.
"Stupid Clanners," she chuckled, "they always seem to think that they can do anything they want to." That didn't have to be true; she didn't care, either way. All she knew was that she was saying it. "But, see, I want to put a stop to that. That's why my fellow cons and I have decided to start a little group that is against the idea of a clan. It's only a temporary group, of course. For however long it takes us to stop the mini-clan from becoming a real clan."
She nodded and chuckled, happy to be able to explain her ideas. "I call it the Rebellion. Are you interested, by any chance?" She finally questioned.

Mottledpaw smirked as Rainstripe backed away, feeling triumph at defeated one of these cats without raising a claw.
"...but maybe for /her/."
Being addressed as her, Mottlepaw growled. But however much she didn't want to admit it, but it was true. She'd be in worse shape than them, especially since her father had touched fighting lightly and concentrated on hunting.
As Beetlepaw started her speech, Mottlepaw listened intently, her green gaze fixed on the she-cat in an stare.
"The Rebellion, eh?" The tortoiseshell drawled, re-situating herself so she was lying down in a more comfortable way. "Sounds good enough to me. Sure, I'll join this group."
She slid her eyes over to Frozenheart. "Whitey, eh? So that's your name." Mottledpaw got up and walked over to the tom, inspecting him. Realizing he was deaf when he didn't turn his ears - in fact, she hadn't seen him turn his ears at all during the whole conversation -, she came to a halt in front of him. "Guess you can't be that bad. Since we're going to be in the same group, might as well make up," The she-cat meowed grudgingly.

Frozenheart shook his head with an amused wince - his name was not Whitey. But he supposed he didn't mind if they called him that. It was accurate, after all, and it could be worse. At her mention of reconciliation, he purred and swept his pink tongue across her ear.
It didn't occur to him that she might not take well to that.

Mottledpaw shrugged at the gesture; it wasn't knocking her over, so why worry about it? She turned to face the group. The Rebellion.
"I'm Mottledpaw. Who are you?"

"Great," the she-cat smiled upon hearing the other cat's answer. "That gives us eight members, correct? I think so," she answered herself on that one, because, well, quite frankly, she was sure that the other cats didn't have the answer.
"'M Beetlepaw," she told the other she-cat; Mottledpaw. "That's Whitey, as you had said before," she nodded towards Frozenheart, "because he chooses to be inconvenient and doesn't tell us his name. And that's Rainstripe," she then nodded towards the she-cat.

"Whitey, Beetlepaw, Rainstripe. Got that."
Mottledpaw snickered at Beetlepaw's words. /Because he chooses to be inconvenient,/ she laughed silently.

Ooc: I don't remember.
Rainstripe didn't mention that she didn't think the white cat could talk. She just nodded, agreeing with what Beetlepaw said. "Oh, who are the other members?" asked Rainstripe curiously. Had Beetlepaw told her the other names before? She didn't remember. "Nice to meet you Mottledpaw."

"The other members are..." she trailed off, trying to think of all their names; she didn't want to mess any of them up, now did she? "Well, currently, we have myself, you, Whitey, Mottledpaw, Grimykit, Orangestorm, Frailheart, and Shadestream. That's all."
She nodded towards Mottledpaw. "Good. 'Hope you can get all the other names, too."

Ooc: I have to go babysit, I won't be on until tomorrow.
"Hey, I remember Grimykit!" Rainstripe meowed. She didn't know any of the other cats, and considered herself lucky that even one name was familiar to her. "How many cats do the Clanners have on their side?" she asked, wondering if their Rebellion was large enough to be considered a threat. Hopefully they were, but she didn't know how many Clanners lived here.
