Rainstripe walked away from the Clanners, not checking to make sure if the others were following her. Maybe they didn't want her always looking back at them like they were helpless kits. She made sure to stay close to the wall; she needed safety when doing something new like leading. After walking for a while, she reached the far side of the enclosure. From here, the Clanners were hard to see and distant. "Maybe more people will join now," she meowed hopefully.

"Maybe so," Beetlepaw repeated, coming up behind the other she-cat. "Anyways, I sure hope so. I don't know if they will, though. Maybe most cats are over there with the Clanners, so there aren't any others around who are interested in showing up..." she trailed off, thinking.
Then she shook her head in a way to rid her head of the negative thoughts. Now wasn't the time to be negative. No, now was far from it. She nodded and sat down, looking around in all directions.
"First, we need to find a way to get them here." She explained simply.

"How do we do that? If we drag cats over here and force them to listen, we'll be as bad as the Clanners. I really though other anti-Clan cats would stay away from the Clanners." Now Rainstripe was thouroughly confused. If Beetlepaw thought most cats, Clanners or not, were over there with the mini-Clan thing, why did she let her lead them to a different place?

"If I was going to tell you how to do that, I would've explained already. We don't need to drag any cats over nor do we need to become as bad as the Clanners," she spoke calmly. "Besides, some cons were curious about the fake fight so they went over." She explained.
Beetlepaw snorted. "Figure out a way to get cats to show up. I don't believe that you're stupid enough not to be able to. Other cats are not always going to do stuff for you."

"Well, how exactly do you think we should do that? It's not like cats are just going to walk on over here!" Rainstripe yowled angrily. Usually she was a calm or scared cat, but she did not appreciate being called stupid. "I'm going to catch some food. Maybe that will bring some cats."

"I know how to attract cats, but I'm trying to see if you know, as well," she told her. There was no trace of anger in her voice, even though she had just been shouted at. She didn't want to start another fight right now.
"Maybe so. See? I was right. You can come up with ideas on your own. You don't need me to tell you what to do or how to do something." She nodded, a smile finding it's way across her face.

Rainstripe looked over at Beetlepaw before she started her hunting. "I don't usually like being told what to do, but I;ve never really....attracted cats before. Normally I try to avoid them," she pointed out. The she-cat walked away from Beetlepaw so the other cat wouldn't scare prey. She couldn't smell any prey yet...There might be more prey if she checked the wall. Rainstripe was correct in her assumptions and managed to find a large beetle and a lizard. "There," she meowed after bringing the pieces of prey to Beetlepaw. "Now we just back away and see if anyone's interested in free food."

"Makes sense. A lot of cons tend to do that, actually. But, what they don't realize is that our chances of preventing a clan from forming are much larger when we are in a group together. It's just something that they don't understand, I suppose, but I'm sure glad that there are few that do. The ones in the Rebellion, that is," the tabby nodded.
Beetlepaw resisted the urge to wrinkle her nose at the sight of the dead beetle and began backing away, like Rainstripe had said. "Alright. I find this plan to be a good one, so far," she nodded in agreement.

"Well, some cats just don't think forming a group is a good idea, until you explain it to them. Like me, for instance. If you tell them why it would be easier to preventing a Clan from forming when we're in a group, they might be more open to the idea." Rainstripe also backed up until she was sure cats wouldn't think it belonged to her. That wouldn't stop some cats from taking it, but other might not want to come if the food belonged to her.

"Ah," she nodded, "I see. Well, since I'm not like that, I guess I wouldn't exactly know. But now I do. Thanks for saying." Beetlepaw wasn't sure if that made sense or not to Rainstripe, but it certainly did to her and that was all that mattered.
She glanced around, trying to spot any other possible members. So far, no other cats had shown up. She really hoped they did soon. Then again, though, 'hope' didn't always help you in a situation like this.
