Oi, I was thinking it would be tedious to role play the voting (for the leadership experiment) so what do y'all think of using a thread poll?

I think that's a good idea, because it's much more organized and simple than having every cat say who they wanted for the leader.
So we just vote here (if everyone else agrees) and then continue the roleplay from where the leader has been chosen?

Mmmhm.
Also, I think I should mention that, in the current thread, cats can blurt out a nomination any time they'd like and then keep on with the discussion, so that nominated candidates (cats who accept their nomination) can try to win votes, and cats who don't want any of the nominated candidates can think about other cats to nominate.

So where is this poll going to be? And are all the cats in the experiment besides Woodstripe going to be on it?
Will there be a seperate poll for deputy, or will Woodstripe automatically get the job?
Oh, and one more thing. Dingypaw and Patchfur want different cats to be leader, but usually in polls, you're only allowed to vote once, so how can I vote for both Bronzefoot and Redstream?

ahahano, she'd have to earn it, though she is looking popular.
I'll do the leader election first. If there's a close first and second, with other cats not getting many votes at all, then the second-place cat gets deputy. If the votes are close between more than two cats, there'll be another election.

Which reminds me: if Woodstripe is to be a candidate for deputy but not a candidate for leader, then there would have to be two separate elections, wouldn't there?

Not if there's a close tie between two cats for leader.
Then the other cat gets deputy by default.
