Frozenheart did not have a plan.
He knew was that there was something fishy going on; he intended to find out what, but he did not know how he would do that.
He walked in the same direction that he had seen Beetlepaw take and looked for the she-cat with suspicious, blue eyes. He could try using an expression to convey curiosity - a "what happened back there?" sort of look... but it might be a secret, in which case he would need to either appear intimidating, with a "I know what happened. Let me in on it, or else," face... or he could try softening her up, rubbing on her and purring and widening his eyes like an innocent kit begging for a story.
Of course, it was possible that she might be to dense to read enough into his expressions, and it would be best just to follow her for a while and learn something that way.
But first he had to find her.

Her plan was working, so far. She hadn't bothered to stick around and watch, though. Why? Well, if the plan screwed up, she wouldn't want to be the one that got attacked by some angry pro cats. They would be mad, right? Who wouldn't be mad if they found out that someone wanted to mess up their little mini-clan? Well, anyways, Beetlepaw surely wasn't taking chances with it.
Sure, she didn't want the other cats to get hurt, either. But, it wasn't her fault if they weren't smart enough to get out of there. She had no doubt that they could take care of themselves, though. From what she had seen of the fake fight, Shadestream looked like she could hold her own. She had to say the same for Orangestorm, too. Frailheart could probably get out of there quickly, too, right? And, as for Grimykit... she wasn't too sure about him. From what she'd heard, not many cats were fond of him. Why would they choose to help him?
But, she was sure of one thing: those pro cats were really stupid. What, to think that they could start a clan? Haha. She laughed at the thought. Sure, not all of them were for the idea of a clan; some of them just wanted to see if it would fail or not, right? ...or something. And one of them was there for a very good purpose: her own.
Of course she would take all credit for the little rebellion. It had been her idea, right? Maybe some parts of it weren't, but, otherwise, it all was her idea. Who wouldn't take credit for it, after all? Besi-
Wait, wait. There was another cat here; she could hear the pawsteps. Had she been followed? Apparently so. Why? Had they figured out her plan already? She stopped in her steps and turned to look at the cat who was following. A white tom. He hadn't been in the mini-clan, had he?
Well, one thing was for sure: the tabby she-cat had a stalker follower.

ooc| Aw, I love Beetlepaw's monologues. She makes me laugh.

Frozenheart stopped dead. He must have been too busy thinking up what to do when he saw her, which allowed her to see him. Well, that threw plan four into the dirt.
He recommenced walking toward her, mimicking a knowing expression of his mother's that should be enough to let Beetlepaw know he was on to her. As he approached, he was pleased to see that she was a good deal smaller than he was. That was to his benefit, if even just by psychology.
Frozenheart halted before her and sat himself down with absolute finality. She had some explaining to do.

"You followed me? Why?" She hissed, glaring up at the bigger cat. She hadn't been expecting this at all. How was she supposed to get away unnoticed now? She couldn't, apparently, because he had, in fact, noticed her.
She shook her head, not bothering to wait for him to answer. This was bad. She had to get away now. From the looks of it, his expression said it all; he was on to her. Rat dung. She quickly changed her tactics to something... simpler.
"Oh, hey, sorry," she shrugged, "but, when I was younger, my mother always told me not to talk to strangers. So, I'mma be going now." She turned away from the tom and began continuing. She wasn't going to run, though. No, that would make her seem like a coward, right? So, she wouldn't.
...besides, he wouldn't come after her again, would he?
>>ooc haha, really? i'd say that i agree, but that'd seem a little weird, considering the fact that i'm the one who writes them. also: stranger danger ftw

Frozenheart stepped ahead and cut her off. No, he wasn't going to let her off so soon. Not until she told him what this was all about. She could run - but his legs were longer. She could fight - but he was stronger.
And everyone knew there was no place to hide.
He considered that she might try to find other ways out of this. If she refused to speak to him, he could afford to follow her around at a conspicuous distance, so that if she didn't explain to him, she'd have to explain him to onlookers. And if she had a secret, as she seemed to, that seemed like something she'd want to avoid.
He narrowed his eyes. She'd better start talking.

"Hey, look, buddy," the she-cat said calmly, "I don't have time for this game. If you didn't know it already, I was leaving. But, you know, life would be way easier if you just told me what you want." She knew that wasn't true. She didn't think that life would ever be easy here. But, still. She could use a saying, right?
Instead of waiting for him to answer, she turned to go back the other way. As she was walking that way, though, she noticed that that wouldn't work, either. She'd just be going back to where she had began, which wouldn't help at all. Where was she supposed to go now?
Then she finally figured something else: that she was trapped and that she shouldn't waste her effort trying to get away. It wasn't worth it. She sighed and turned around to look at the tom again. "Alright. Again, I say, what do you want?"

He tilted his head. She had to ask?
Just moments ago she had said she knew why Grimykit and Shadestream were fighting, and from the way she was acting, she must've known the fight wasn't real and therefore must be involved somehow. Perhaps it was just some sort of distraction - but why?
Neither of them were idiots, and he wished she would quit fooling around and get to it already. Still, he could see she was more than willing to give him trouble. Whatever it was, he hoped it wasn't a ruse to help Woodstripe. Even though Beetlepaw didn't seem like a Clanner, you never knew.
Frozenheart looked back at his sister and the Clan-loving cats around her, not conscious of the scowl embedding itself into his stark-white features. What he would give to ruin their plans.

Once she saw the scowl, Beetlepaw considered something else. Maybe he wasn't with the mini-clan. He didn't seem to like it, after all. She wasn't sure, though. Could she trust this cat? If she didn't, she would seem like a hypocrite, since she had trusted a bunch of other cats back there. But, first, she had to make sure.
"Oh. Ohhh." She nodded. "So, you a Clanner or what? I'm not wasting my time with you if you are; I've got better things to do." In all honesty, she didn't. After all, she was the cat that had been totally paranoid about eating a beetle. How could that be considered 'better things'?
Whatever. It didn't matter now. This tom wanted to know something, she was sure of it. She didn't think he was going to leave her alone, either, unless she told him. So, she shrugged as if it was nothing and then looked at him in a rather dull way. She had to keep this conversation from looking interesting. Really, all she needed right now was another crowd.
"So. You want in or what?" She finally asked. Her tail flicked back and forth for a few minutes, but she quickly thought better of it. Tail flicking often seemed to represent annoyance(and although she was annoyed, she didn't want to show it) and annoyance seemed to represent fights or excitement. Well, that's how she saw it, at least.

He was surprised at her first question and gave a quick shake of his head - how could she think he was a Clanner? Well, he supposed it made sense that an angry Clanner would track her down for... whatever it was she was planning. That thought made him all the more interested in convincing her he was a con, willing to help.
He looked from side to side to make sure no one was watching them, then gave a slow, careful nod to her second question, having caught on to her furtive manner. She had to realize at some point that he couldn't be of any use to her until she told him something. Although he didn't like not knowing what he was getting into, he doubted it would be anything atrocious, and he wasn't about to go about revealing her plot to every cat in the enclosure.
Maybe she hadn't noticed, but Frozenheart didn't like to talk.

"Okay, good. I don't know about you, but I don't like Clanners. All clan-loving and all that... pfft, it makes me sick." She scowled. The scowl went away, though, as she began explaining what had happened, "Y'see, I sort of started the fight. Sort of. The fight wasn't exactly my idea, but the whole plan that it fits into is mine. All mine."
A smirk found it's way across her face as she continued, "Well, since the Clanners have a little mini-clan thing going on, I figured, 'why can't we have a little group of our own?'. Something to show that we cons don't agree to the idea of a clan, no matter how big their little mini-clan is. Of course, the group for the cons is only temporary; if we stayed together too long, we would seem like a clan ourselves." She shook her head. "And who would want that?"
"So, I discussed this with a few other cons and they agreed, as well. So, we decided that we would send a spy to keep us updated on the mini-clan's activity. But, first, we needed to get the mini-clan to show up and, in order to do that, we needed to find some way to attract a lot of attention. The result? A fight." She chuckled, "Staged, of course."
"So, those two," she gestured towards Shadestream and Grimykit with a flick of her tail, "volunteered to stage the fight together. So, as soon as Woodstripe and her goody-goody Clanners showed up, our 'spy' went and agreed to participate in the mini-clan." She gestured towards Orangestorm this time. "And that's it. So far, so good. You satisfied? Good."
She got up, walked around the tom, and then began padding away again. Hopefully, he wouldn't follow this time. She didn't suspect that he would tell anyone about what she had just said; after all, he hadn't said anything while they were speaking before. So, the secret was safe, for now.
