Role player| Modd. _____
Name| Palefang.
Gender| Tom.
Physical Description| Palefang is a large, pale brown tabby tom. His darker colored stripes are more distinctive on his tail, though, on other parts of his body, they aren't as easy to see. His eyes are brown, but there isn't anything special about them. His underbelly is white and so are his front paws.
Views| Palefang is more on the 'pro' side, meaning he wants a clan. He sometimes disagrees with what the results of a clan would be. He sees the downfalls in forming a clan and was once considered to be anti-clan.
He thinks that a clan would make it harder to get at other cats. Clan cats tend to stick together, helping eachother in times of need, right? So, in order to get to other cats, he would have to somehow seperate one or two from the others, which might prove to be hard.
More cats coming together means that more kits will be born. If he keeps getting to all the cats, they won't be able to reproduce. And if they don't, there won't be any left for him to hunt. Which would put an end to his game. But with clans, as said before, kits tend to be more plentiful, meaning more cats.
In the end, though, he agreed to go with the 'pro' side and he has stuck with it ever since. Anyone who disagrees with him doesn't really get to disagree with him for long. He makes sure of that.
Kin| Lightstorm <--- mother. Mudfoot <--- father.
History| Palefang was named for his pale fur color, obviously. There was nothing significant about his kithood. Nothing worth mentioning happened until he became an apprentice, when his personality became more distinguished.
Palepaw didn't like to be bothered by other cats. He'd much rather be on his own, but it was hard when both your mother and father were bothering you, trying to 'mentor' you. That annoyed him, but he put up with it, considering he really had no other choice besides leaving. But, leaving at apprentice age, when you barely knew anything about anything, seemed like a bad idea to him at the time.
His mother, Lightstorm, was tough on him, but it helped him become tougher in the end. His father, Mudfoot, on the other hand, was always praising him for every little thing he did. Lightstorm was often snapping at Mudfoot about that, but Mudfoot would always shrug it off and continue with his praising.
Once he was an older apprentice, almost warrior age, Lightstorm began teaching him other ways to get food. They began hunting differently, not in the same way that every other cat did. Instead of crickets, bugs, rats... they hunted their own species. Cats. Lightstorm told Palepaw that her father taught her to hunt cats and his father taught him and so on. It worked for them. Not many of her relatives died.
All he had to do, she said, was look for cats who were smaller than him and looked weaker. If he could overpower them, he'd never go hungry. And, for someone like Palepaw, it wasn't hard. He was an oversized cat, bigger than most. The only time he'd ever ran away from his prey was when a few cats outnumbered him.
Mudfoot noticed that Lightstorm had already taught him to be cannibalistic, unfortunately. He had never wanted his only kit to turn out this way. Who would? He was supposed to prevent it from happening, but he was too late. He left after a while because he was too full of regret to stay with Palepaw and Lightstorm; after all, he had let his mate turn Lightstorm into a killer.
So, after Mudfoot left, Palepaw had no one left to praise him. No one left to teach him to be nice or kind or anything of the sort to other cats. Lightstorm never did that. She always told him to shape up or be left behind. That was her motto and, eventually, it turned into his. She was cruel and rude to him, never praising him at all. She only spat at him and hissed and told him to improve.
Due to Lightstorm's attitude towards him, Palepaw began to develop quite an attitude himself. Although, his was much worse than Lightstorm's. He began to act aggressive towards her and began caring for her less and less with every passing day. Lightstorm decided that it was time for him to earn his warrior name and left before he could do anything risky, involving her.
Palepaw was giving the name Palefang. Not only was he named 'fang' for his aggressive attitude towards others, but he was also named after the way he hunted, as Lightstorm had taught him. Palefang didn't question why his mother had left after giving him his warrior name; she had always been a coward.
Being alone hardened Palefang even more, if that was possible. His aggressiveness towards other cats worsened, though he learned that he should act nice to them in order to get close to them. If he did that, it'd be easier for him to kill them. And if that didn't work, he'd just get to them anyway he could, even if he had to kill other cats in the process.
He never gave up on any cat. Once he spots a cat he wants to get, it becomes a game to him. A game to see how long it will take him to track the cat down and kill it. If he couldn't obtain it, he would scold himself and keep on the look out for that cat.
As he always says, 'Shape up or be left behind'.
Picture| Maybe one day.

If I'm not mistaken, you'll be competing with Gosh for that prefix.
"Palefang is a large, pale-colored tabby tom." -- Pale isn't a color. So he's brown, right?
"His eyes are brown, just like basically any other cat's, as he would say." -- I believe the dominant gene for cat eye color is green.
"yes, I have seen a cat like this." -- So have I, silly goose.
"He sometimes disagrees with what the results of a clan would be. He sees the downfalls in forming a clan" -- Which are what?
"He quickly changed his mind after considering other things, though." -- What triggered that? It belongs in the History.
"It would also be easier to get to cats, though. Clans also tend to stay in one area, calling it their 'territory' and 'camp'." -- They're in an enclosure. That doesn't make it easy enough?
"it was hard when both your mother and father were bothering you, trying to 'mentor' you" -- Why did that bother him?
"Instead of crickets, bugs, rats... they hunted their own species. Cats." -- For entertainment, or did they rely on cats for sustenance?
"The only time he'd ever ran away from his 'hunting'" <-- prey?
"Mudfoot noticed that Lightstorm had already taught him this, unfortunately." -- Could you clarify what this sentence is meant to indicate?
"He had never wanted his only kit to turn out this way." -- Did he not know about Lightstorm being "this way"?
"She was cruel and rude to him, never praising him at all." -- So she was cruel and rude by not lavishing laud on him, or did she do other things cruel and rude?
"'Fang' for his aggressive attitude towards others." -- You know this isn't a complete sentence, right? Also, you've already made it evident why he would deserve this suffix.
"A game to see how long it will take him to track them down and kill them. If he couldn't obtain them, he would scold himself and keep on the look out for that cat." -- The pronoun-antecedent agreement here is off. Considering the way he views cats, I suggest using "it".

i edited most of the stuff.
"you'll be competing with Gosh for that prefix." mhm. i know.
"Which are what?" check the second paragraph in 'views'. i listed them.
"What triggered that?" he considered things and decided they were best. that's what triggered it.
"It belongs in the History." but it's about his views, not his history. it's just saying that he was once for 'anti-clan' but now he's for 'pro-clan'.
"That doesn't make it easy enough?"
apparently not i suppose so, but if a bunch of cats made a camp in one area of the enclosure, he wouldn't have to run around trying to find them. he could just hide somewhere near the camp.
"Why did that bother him?" palefang is an independent cat who believes he can accomplish anything on his own. that's why.
"For entertainment, or did they rely on cats for sustenance?" both. they found it fun to trick and chase after cats and they also preferred cats to the prey in the enclosure.
"Did he not know about Lightstorm being "this way"?" he did, but he figured that if he got with lightstorm, if they had any kits, he would be able to prevent lightstorm from teaching them her ways of living by teaching them his first. he never liked the idea of cats killing cats and he wanted to stop it from spreading further, even if it meant by preventing only one kit from becoming that way.
"So she was cruel and rude by not lavishing laud on him, or did she do other things cruel and rude?" the second. see?

"he considered things" <-- I mean what triggered this.
"it's just saying that he was once for 'anti-clan' but now he's for 'pro-clan'." -- The Views section is his current way of seeing things. The History is his past.
"he wouldn't have to run around trying to find them." -- You seem to be imagining the population as more sparse than I see it.
"palefang is an independent cat who believes he can accomplish anything on his own." -- What led him to become that way?
"both. they found it fun to trick and chase after cats and they also preferred cats to the prey in the enclosure." -- mm... I know of only one cannibalistic culture in the world, though I suppose individuals could pop up anywhere. Still, are there any cannibals who eat their own due to hunger on a constant basis?
Also, his preferences would mean a lot of characters would have to die... unless he only killed NPCs? Yet even then he would get mad at role play characters and want to eat them too, no?

oh. well, nothing really triggered it. he just started thinking about it one day and decided to consider more carefully.
-edited.
"You seem to be imagining the population as more sparse than I see it." perhaps so. or maybe i just think that in a dark enclosure there would be more places to hide, but if there was a camp, more cats would stay there, making them easier to find.
"What led him to become that way?" genetics? his mother was like that, as well.
"are there any cannibals who eat their own due to hunger on a constant basis?" there could be. you never know. -shrugs-
"unless he only killed NPCs?" most likely.
"want to eat them too, no?" he would, but i wouldn't have him actually eat them. i'd find some other way around it.

"or maybe i just think that in a dark enclosure there would be more places to hide, " -- Such as where? And you know cats can see in the dark.
"there could be. you never know." -- Have you researched this?
"i'd find some other way around it." -- Such as...?

"Such as where?" like... behind rocks? -shot- but, uh, i think i'm just going to edit that.
"And you know cats can see in the dark." yeah.
"Have you researched this?" no. so what if i changed my mind and just said that they did it for entertainment only?
"Such as...?" i said 'i'd find some other way around it' not 'i've found some other way around it'. though, i'll most likely just have him not do it. scare off the other cat, if he can. or maybe he'll just be lazy and not feel up to the chase.

"so what if i changed my mind and just said that they did it for entertainment only?" -- In that case he wouldn't do it all too often, would he?
"though, i'll most likely just have him not do it." -- So what effect would it have on the role play?

"In that case he wouldn't do it all too often, would he?" exactly.
"So what effect would it have on the role play?" nothing, really. he'll be able to talk to the cats about the 'pro' and 'anti' stuff without wanting to eat them every ten seconds, so it'll go fine, i think.

"nothing, really." --
Nothing nothing? As in, it wouldn't be any different than if he weren't cannibalistic?
