He did, and she acted quiet whenever he was near, but she still kept her personality when he wasn't there.

He pretty much ignored her while he was caring for Littlenose, so she was able to wander around the place.

So, while daddy drags a dead rat all the way over from wherever to Littlenose (...she can walk, right?), Shadestream walks around all over the place and goes on a whole rat hunt?

She can walk, but gets tired easily.
And Shadestream doesn't go on rat hunts when she's exploring. She just catches lizards and easy prey.
