"like in memory"
Okay. So how would the cat they're commemorating be named after leaves?
"high morality rate" You mean mortality rate? :3
"perhaps Ten could be a little more lenient with bios?"
Yeah. Perhaps I could. And perhaps the people making bios could answer my questions rather than get upset.
After all, I thought I was being lenient.

"and given a proper warrior name? Wouldn't have leaf in it unless the cat were green. "
Maybe the cat's eyes were green. Or a brown cat - you know, as in fallen leaves can be brown.
"Why would she hesitate to name her beloved offspring?"
-what Darky said goes here-

"Maybe the cat's eyes were green." --x So....? As I've said before, eye color is less noticible than size or fur because you have to be looking right into the cat's face to see it. Plus, then what would they name the cat? Greeneyes? Predetermined suffix much? I think they'd stick to what they do with most other cats.
"Or a brown cat - you know, as in fallen leaves can be brown." --x Mhm. So how is being named after a dead plant not dishonorable?

Predetermined suffix much?" Perhaps the cat might've been born in a bunch of leaves or they liked playing with leaves a lot as a kit. Is it a fact that all queens name their kits right after birth?
"You mean mortality?" Yah, sorry 'bout that. xD
"Mhm. So how is being named after a dead plant not dishonorable?" It could be that their parents didn't value honour so much, just pretty names.
"Why would she hesitate to name her beloved offspring?" Their offspring might not be so beloved. =);

"Perhaps the cat might've been born in a bunch of leaves or they liked playing with leaves a lot as a kit."
So...? If Clan cats were named after where they were born, there'd be a bunch of Nurserykits. Now why would a queen wait until her kits had developed enough motorskills to play with leaves before naming them?
"Is it a fact that all queens name their kits right after birth?"
I wouldn't know.
"It could be that their parents didn't value honour so much"
Then I'm thinking they wouldn't be in a Clan.
"Their offspring might not be so beloved."
Watch this, I'm fixing to tell you something.
All (sane) mothers have a strong parental instinct to nuture and protect their offspring, whatever the cost - even their own life. Even if you don't call that love, organisms are designed to preserve their genes in the next generation and as such would wish nothing but the best for their children.

1. What if the mother wasn't sane?
2. These are cats that we have given humanlike personalities. Now, have you heard of people abandoning their own babies? I have. :/

"What if the mother wasn't sane?" --x I don't know what. It depends on what type of insanity and a whole bunch of other things... though I would think that a crazy Clan cat wouldn't be allowed to have kits.
"These are cats that we have given humanlike personalities." --x It's called personification.

Maybe the cat only went insane when she had her kits.
"It's called personification."
Yes, that's the word I was looking for. x3

Why would that happen?

"Why would that happen?" --x Maybe she was super paranoid, and was afraid the birthing process would kill her?
