Erm, hi, my name's Natalie. I believe I posted here before asking a coding question.
But I was just wondering - I was thinking about joining this site. Is hopping into roleplay and getting to know people fairly easy? :3 This question is more of directed as people who recently joined, but anybody that could give me a fair evaluation of the site's atmosphere would be great~ :3

Hello there, Natalie. I'm Fixate. I've only been a part of Starless for a few weeks, and when I first joined and observed the site, I was really nervous. Everybody knew each other, and it seemed like they had been roleplaying together for ages! I started chatting in the cbox, though, and before I knew it, I felt right at home. (: We have recently had a few other new members join, so you'd fit right in! As far as hopping into the roleplay, there is a big discussion taking place right now, and it's only a page and a half into it, so there's plenty of time to jump in! Your cat could just be a little bit late. We also have some other cats that are bound to be joining in that discussion soon anyways, so you wouldn't be the odd one out. A testimony thread was created for guests just like you, that are on the border of joining, but not entirely sure. The link to it is right here: CLICK. So be sure to read through that, and hopefully that will ease your mind. The atmosphere of Starless is great. I feel at home despite my short time here, and I love to just come and chat. People have been nothing but friendly, and I intend on being a long-term member. Hopefully this answered some of your questions, but feel free to ask for clarifications, or post any other questions you may have; I'm sure everyone else here will reassure you also. (:

Why thank you, Fixate. You make us sound so awesome. xD Hello, Natt! Speaking as one of the last four long-term members left, it took me a really long time to join, so I can understand your hesitation. Making your first cat is difficult, I won't lie - but Ten is very patient and the rest of us are willing to help, too. And really, as long as you actually read the rules (which you'd be amazed at how many people neglect to do...) you should be fine. Roleplay itself is very simple. Whatever your level of writing is, you are welcome, and posts need only be three sentences at a minimum. As long as it's realistic, anything goes. I hope to see you on the chatbox, in general mews, and best of all, in roleplay! If you decide you don't want to join or that it's not right for you, we understand, but it'd be great to have you around. :3
