So I was thinking: at some point some she-cat is going to have kittens. Assuming Copperthroat can't kill every litter on the site, we'll need a system for creating offspring characters. - Would the rpers of the parents be allowed to rp them or would it have to be different people?
- Would they wait until the kits are weaned to create their bios or do it as soon as they're born... or beforehand?
- What about numbers and genders - should their rpers (or their parents' rpers) be allowed to choose for themselves or should someone flip a coin?
I figured this deserves member input.

I think that the RPers of the parents should be allowed to RP only one of the kits per parent, and the other kits would get to be RPd by someone else.
For instance, let's say Cat A and Cat B had 3 kits. The RPer of Cat A would get one, the roleplayer of Cat B would get one, and the last one would go to someone else.
I think that it would be best to create their bios as soon as they're born (because of course the rpers would need at least a little time for you to fuss over the bios before they're accepted.) :3
As for the last question, I think that someone should flip a coin or two.

Would the rpers of the parents be allowed to rp them or would it have to be different people?
Depends. If they don't want to rp their kits, they shouldn't have to (although I don't think that would happen). If only one kit was born, the rpers of the parents could sort it out on their own. But, I think that only one kit per rper, even when it comes to parents. If the kit isn't adopted by someone, the kit would somehow be killed.
Would they wait until the kits are weaned to create their bios or do it as soon as they're born... or beforehand?
If we made them create their bios beforehand we could get it all sorted out before the kits were born. So, kits should be able to be adopted by other rpers as soon as the kits have been announced. If the kitten wasn't adopted by weaning age (I believe that 2 moons should be the age, as then the kit will be just old enough to speak and move) they could either be killed off or made an NPC (non-player character, a cat that everyone can roleplay).
What about numbers and genders - should their rpers (or their parents' rpers) be allowed to choose for themselves or should someone flip a coin?
I think that you should flip a coin for genders, as there is only two genders that they can be (XD). But for how many kittens, pelt colors, etc. There should be a randomizer. For example, you put in 6 numbers for pelt, eye color and markings, 1 being an identical to the mother and 5 being identical to the father. So, 2 would be almost like the mother, but having 1 of the father's traits. (eye color, marking, personality trait, etc.) 6 would be unlike both parents, as that sometimes does occur (because of generations beforehand with different pelt colors).
Normally there are 3-5 kittens in a litter, but the randomizer would be sent in between 1-5.
Here's an example: Mother- Brown Tabby with blue eyes Father- Silver spotted with gold eyes.
-use randomizer- Number of kits (1-5): 3
Kit 1: -flip coin- Female -use randomizer- 4 So, the kit would be female, and it could look like a silver spotted cat with blue eyes.
Kit 2: -flip coin- Male -use randomizer- 1 So, the kit would be a brown tabby with blue eyes.
Kit 3: -flip coin- male -use randomizer- 3 So, the kit would be male, and could be a silver tabby with gold eyes.
Makes sense?
