So I remember awhile ago we would have a few contests, and I was wondering what happened to them and if we could bring them back. Now of course it's been awhile, and perhaps you guys already this big contest board and I just missed it. So if that's the case, then you can go ahead and delete this thread, Ten. ^^;
But if that's not the case, I thought it would be a really fun idea! We could have caption contests, writing contests, drawing contests, stand up comedy contests, and just a whole lot of other fun stuff!

True... I remember we did have a caption contest and a search-engine scavenger hunt. I wasn't sure there was still interest in those anymore. But if Rebecca wants one she'd better enter it then I might be able to put something together. Other scribes, of course, are welcome to start their own contests as well -- although if they want to use LTs as the prizes, and if they don't want to pay out of pocket (as it were), then they should consult with me first (but if you just want to give out art/graphics/banners as prizes, have at it). Thank you for bringing this up again, Rebecca. :3 I'd all but forgotten about these. If y'all enjoy them, then I'd love to bring them back.

I don't know which to begin with... Perhaps something that doesn't require much preparation on my part. /lazyfailadmin.
Over on FoF, they do something I think is interesting. They write fanfiction... about FoF. So we could do that too, either just making a board for drabbles, or holding a contest where you write a short short short story/piece of prose about Starless characters.

I like that idea very much! Fanfiction is love, and I think we would have some... interesting stories on here haha. THEN WE SHOULD HAVE A PARODY WRITING CONTEST! Where everyone writes a parody of the book they hate the most! |
