...the gravedigger is here.
Hello, Starless. I'm not dead. And I'm not ready for Starless to be, either. I believe it's worth one last shot. I'll be sending out a mass email to all our old scribes and starting up the recruitment process to gain new joiners. Our main plot, name requirements, and other rules are the same as before, unless you would like to discuss changes. However, I've decided to get the ball rolling with a new segment of the mini-plot.
What this means for returning scribes:
The experiment has ended. For those of you with characters in the experiment, you can decide what kind of experiences your cats had and whether it left them with positive or negative impressions. If you want, you can even collaborate a little backstory between participants, but don't make up things about someone else's cat without asking permission and clearing the idea with the cat's creator.
Now that the experiment has concluded, it is time for the participants to share their thoughts and give their verdict... but before so much as a day has passed, Woodstripe moves into action. She gives a speech, calling the cats of the enclosure, both participants and non-participants, to join together and form a Clan.
I will post the speech in segments, so that characters may interrupt with their reactions (booing, cheering, rebuttals, agreement, et cetera). When the speech concludes, the question arises... how many cats will answer her call? With their numbers be strong enough to keep the attempt from falling flat on its face? Even if there are enough new members, will rebellious cons stop the reformation in its tracks in order to preserve the status quo?
What this means for new scribes:
There's still time for you to jump right into the action and become involved in the plot. It's up to you to decide how your character will respond to Woodstripe's speech. You can even say your fresh-made characters participated in the experiment, as long as you check with me first (plus any other scribes whose characters you want to include in the history section, if you want to write anecdotes about your characters' experiment experiences). This is by no means mandatory; if you prefer, it can be that your character has never heard of the experiment.
So!
Post here to let me know you're interested in getting back in the game again. I know summer is a busy time of year, but I can't do this on my own, and you all know Starless is a special place, a rare one. Besides, what's not to like about a kitty civil war?
