I am on another site where they have a board that you can post family adoptions in. Like instead of having to play all your family members at once, you could put up and ad for someone to play the cat's father or something. I personally think this gives much more room for rolepalying in that you can always have something to talk about to someone. (That makes no sense huh?) Anyways, just a suggestion.

We've never had adoptions on Starless...no one has ever wanted to adopt out his or her cats. not that it's a bad idea, I'm on another bigger site where there are adoptions and I don't mind. We'll see what Ten thinks.

The idea's alright with me. The main reason we don't have a system like that set up is that, here at least, there hasn't been much demand for one -- then again, that could be just that people don't think about using what's not there. /sentence that probably doesn't make sense
I'm not sure how many scribes are in the market for new characters, but do you want me to set something like that up for you? Then people could adopt unused/inactive characters as well.

Well, I would like to have somewhere to put cats that I don't really want to be dead, but I just don't want to play. It also gives new roleplayewrs someplace to start if they are unsure about what kind of character to create. I think it would be a good idea to have at least, even if its not used very often.

You don't have to kill a cat off for them not to be role played. Interaction with that family member can be "off screen", so to speak. But I'll start thinking about how this system will work and what rules we'll need. Suggestions welcome.
