I'm not worried about that, really; it's just I've heard the site creator can get into legal trouble for knowingly accepting personal information from someone under thirteen. Ah, I hated having this problem. I felt so naughty when I lied about my age to get onto forums. xD
But that's really the only other option besides getting parental permission, which can be really confusing and complicated...
I'm afraid it's either wait or get permission. OR LIELIELIELIE.

&&ten;; Yeah, I've heard that too. I know a few sites that have actually been shut down because they had members under thirteen without permission/who lied about their age. Wuhwuh being one of them.

I've heard that you actually have to fill out this form and send it to the site creator... my parents agreed with me when I said that was freaking ridiculous, so they would let me lie about my age to get onto forums as long as the forums were trustworthy.
But I think that's only for some sites.
