Vultures are absolutely gorgeous birds.
They're so big! And majestic. When I see them in the sky, it reminds me of the huge birds in mythology.
And I would like to feel like a bird. Once I was a sulfur-crested cockatoo for Halloween. The next year I was Envy. And the year after that I was a Mary-Sue.
This year I don't know. If Izzy and I can rope one of our friends into our scheme, the three of us can be Kid, Liz, and Patty. But if not, then I'll settle for a different Soul Eater character.

Long, descriptive posts aren't always the best posts. You can see this in professional works, too. Twilight has long descriptions all the time and it is definitely not better than, say, Artemis Fowl, which has much less long description.
Though long descriptive posts can be done well (I usually do that with Rainstripe), like Cloud said, it depends on the scenario.

They are. We get a lot of them in Florida, probably because of all the highways and stuff. I love watching them fly or pick at some questionable thing at the side of the road. xD;;
