The logging thing is only the tip of the iceberg, Ten. There's a lot worse stuff, too. Although logging the rainforest is pretty horrible. Although I know I can't say that without sounding like a hypocrite, because I know that I survive partially off of things from the rainforest. All my life I've hated being so helpless - so needing to be dependent on what other people do, yet knowing it's how I live. I want to be the one who decides how much energy I use and what I eat no matter if it's pricey (because it's organic/vegetarian). I hate that I can't control what benefits me by spoiling the environment.

On a side note, I hate gelatin, even before I learned it was made of hooves, which was back in seventh grade.
Money is part of the root of all evil. Greed is another part, but essentially it's just a component in the much larger part of human nature, which sucks to the ninth degree.
The other part is politicans who do extremely vile things and who spread evil lies. They're few, but I know they're out there. Why else do some people not care about polluting the environment?
As for the chickens, ;____________________________________________; I too try and make my mom buy free-range eggs when I go shopping with her.
