She was seething by this point. 'I'm not getting any food out of this,' she thought to herself. 'So why am I still here?'

The tabby cleared his throat and sat up taller. "The name's Grimykit - though I ain't a kit no more and I just washed. It don't fit me none but I keep it anyhow. Ain't nobody called me nothin' different."

He frowned. " 'Paw' is for 'pprentizes. I ain't learnin' from nobody. I knows all I need ta know. What would I need to change my name fer, anyhow?" He had heard about the tradition of name changing. That was something that occured in Clans.

I can see you're no kit, and since you say you're not an apprentice, you should have a name that fits you. I'm not a supporter of the Clan idea, but I'm not called Frailkit."
