Here's the plan, Stan.
Everyone who has taken a kit needs to decide on a date for Hailpaw to give birth -- it doesn't have to be May 15th, but sometime next week would be good (although postponement is an option). Before the birth, I'll move Stonekit, Tinykit, Blotchkit, and Locustkit to the Newborn board.
For their first thread, I'd like for us all to be online around the same time so we can do some quick posting. Cloud will make the thread (set just after the birth & cleanup), and we'll have some initial interaction between Hailpaw and the kits so we can see her parenting style. Of course, the kits are all deaf and blind at that point, so we want to conclude that thread soon (unless some cat wants to come along and talk to her, but that won't involve the litter itself).
So what's your availability between now and May 22nd?
After we finish that first thread, the most convenient thing is to skip to the first day when the kits all have sight, hearing, some motor skills, and a small vocabulary. We'll all join up at another thread and see how each kit responds to Hailpaw. Remember, kits are blank slates. They can have some inherent traits (such as introversion/extroversion and assertiveness) but right now their personalities will be formed entirely based on how Hailpaw treats them, and they have no reason not to believe anything they hear, so be responsible with their behavior and don't make them do anything they have no reason to.
