Ten, you are excepted from being around 14.
It's kind of like moving to a faster swimming group. Even though It's harder now and sometimes I feel discouraged, I can't get better if I always take the easy way out.
I don't understand what you mean by different types of writing. Are you talking about genres?

"Ten, you are excepted from being around 14." -- aha. -rubs chin- You think I'm older than that, mm?
"Are you talking about genres?" -- No, there are many, many subgroups within a genre... But what I mean is more like styles and aspects of writing, the way you form your sentences and approach the subject you want to describe. That doesn't sound like there can be much difference between writers in such areas, but the more people's work you read, well... It's one of those things you have to find out for yourself. "Everybody's different" is too simple, too deceptive a way to describe something so complex. Man, I keep trying to summarize this, but it becomes this circular rambling. ><
WE ALL GOTS OUR OWN DIFFERENT TALENTS IN THA BEAUTIFUL WURLD OF THA WRITIN'S.
There we go. It makes more sense than you think. You just don't know it yet.

If you're going off to college soon, you must be either a junior or a senior and therefore older than...all of us. ;P
And I know what Ten's talking about, having read many, many books myself. Eoin Colfer has a distinctive style, as does P.B Kerr, Emily Rodda, Christopher Paolini (-gags-) and various other people.

I don't understand how you guys could be roleplayin at 8 or 9. At 8-9, I barely used the internet. I went on Neopets and didn't even go on the boards.

"If you're going off to college soon, you must be either a junior or a senior and therefore older than...all of us." --x It doesn't have to mean that. ...buuut I do doubt that more than a couple scribes are older than me. /wrinkled ;;
Good to know you're interested, Ginger. :3 I'll keep you in mind for the job as I get to know you better. Like I said, there's plenty of time before I make a decision.
Ducky, I was playing computer games at age four. e.e /nerdfamily But yeah, I avoided boards until I was around middle-schoolish age.

"Christopher Paolini (-gags-)" --- What planet do you live on?
I'm going to use the form Ginger used.
I would like to be a mod...
BUT - I have little experience roleplaying. - I have no experience with coding. - I'm only slightly active. ALTHOUGH - I'm artistic. - I quickly became used to the plot and rules. - I enjoy processing cats.
As per maturity, tact, and confidence, you tell me.

"What planet do you live on?" -- I'm pretty sure New England is on Earth. I can't prove it, but it's what the books say.
I read Eragon a long time ago, so I can't recite everything that might cause Cloud to gag, but I do remember that the first sentence was laughable. Looking back at it now, it looks like some sort of drug reference or perfume ad when it's out of context.
Anyway, coding and layout know-how aren't requirements, and you can still post on processing bios even if you're not staff (because we're cool like that), but Brain, even with your experience level, you're good at coming up with new ways to look at a situation.

"What planet do you live on?" What Ten said. xD And if you start me on my mocking and dislike of Eragon, we'll be here all year while I laugh my face off at Kippur's sporkings of it. (see my notebook link) And just because I think the books are stupid, does not mean I think the same of you. ;P Many people seem to make that mistake. In fact, I think you're rather intelligent, Brain.

"In fact, I think you're rather intelligent, Brain." --- Thanks.
Speaking of taking things out of context, that last sentence sounds like you're talking to yourself.
